If my return flight to Bangkok hadn't been cancelled by Vietjet today, I would never have eaten here, that would have been a disaster as my lunch was excellent. The fresh shrimp and vegetables spring rolls were a perfect light starter. The powerful mustard greens and ginger soup with shrimp that followed also wowed. The main course, an over sized portion of herring, shredded onions and chillies, came with an equally large portion of salad leaves and Asian aromatic herbs, plus a skilled waitress to assemble the herring and aromatics into rice paper rolls. She was way faster with chopsticks and well used to handling the fragile rice paper sheets than I would have been with my hands. Both food and staff impressed throughout lunch, as did the frequently refreshed little bowls that dotted the table; bowls that contained fresh chopped chillies, a course mix of grey salt and black pepper and the star of the show, crushed peanuts blended with fish sauce.

Came here looking for a nice place to eat but my satisfaction was not met when we were served low quality food for a high price. We were given a dish that we did not want but kept being told that it was our fault that it was served, then were threatened by the owner. The food was not fresh and did not have the authentic Vietnamese food flavour we were hoping for. To top it all off, when the bill arrived we scanned over it to check that it was right only to find that they had charged us for extra food and drinks that were never even mentioned.

AUD3, they were nice and herby, they might be a bit small and pricey compared to the competitors. The water spinach with garlic was D60 was good and plenty of garlic.
