Venue: plastic chairs, outdoors, spacious and plenty of distance between tables. Half the restaurant is covered so guests can dine in the rain.
Food: the hotpot broth was delicious. We've had hotpot at various places around Southeast Asia and many places in Vietnam and this broth compares very favorably. The price was very low compared to the amount of seafood provided.
Service: from the moment we were welcomed into the store, we had some of the most attentive waitstaff I've seen in a long time. They actively looked to improve our dining experience. We mentioned offhandedly to each other that it would be nice to have a few items, and it caught their ear and they brought them to us. We were disappointed that one item we saw on a menu posted here 6 months ago was no longer available (their menu has expanded greatly so I posted pictures of their new menu), but they heard us and suggested that they can make it for us. They seemed to like guests and enjoy making guests feel welcome and happy, rather than just running a business for money. We hadn't planned on staying in this area for longer than a day but we made a special note to return if possible for...
Read moreFirst, these folks are amazing. We had one meal elsewhere the whole time we were here. Our First meal. After we ate here, we kept coming back. We fast until noon so we ate brunch and dinner. They have fresh grilled seafood EVERYDAY. We had every kind of shrimp, tropical snapper (which is the best in our opinion), tuna, and barracuda. We had many different samplings on the menu and never had one meal that wasn't absolutely delicious and flavorful. But more than that I felt like these people became family. And...the strong man. IYKYK. 😂😂🙌🏻 They always met us with smiles and some hugs and really wanted us to enjoy their service and their food. This food in the states would've cost close to $100 at least depending on where you were at.
If you're trying to decide where to eat? Go here and tell them Strong man from Texas and his wife...
Read moreThis is our second year in a row visiting Phu Quoc with our family. At first, we used to eat at a different restaurant, but the warm and welcoming attitude of the waiter Lon and the restaurant owner Qua drew us in.
We were very pleased with the menu, prices, and service — so we ended up having almost all of our dinners here.
We felt so cozy and comfortable in this restaurant. The food was delicious, and our child received many tasty gifts like watermelon, mango, melon, and candy.
If we ever return to Phu Quoc, we will definitely visit this restaurant again.
We’ll miss your friendly team. We wish you success, growth, and lots of great guests!
