My son and I booked in for one night on 21/10/24 after driving for 5 days. From the entrance to the exit - it was a wonderful experience. FOYER: The foyer was beautifully decorated and smelled pleasant. It was a huge WOW factor. I actually had to stop and take it all in. The Christmas tree was beautifully decorated. RECEPTION: I was warmly greeted by a friendly gentleman called Dipesh. Check in was a breeze. He could not do enough for me. I felt like a million dollars. VALET PARKING: we choose to take valet parking and that was a breeze. All taken care of by Dipesh. PASSAGE TO ROOMS: I would suggest that your passageways smell the same as your foyer - which smelt fabulous. It was an anticlimax getting out of lift and having a bit of a ‘musty’ smell. ROOM: another WOW factor. Bright, fresh, new. Ensuite was exquisite. Beds we so comfortable. TV had movies you could watch WITHOUT paying and having to login to your own Netflix accounts. For this alone I would give 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5stars), 👏👏 Well done. BREAKFAST: we choose to go down later (9:20am) and have a sleep-in. I must be honest and say I was a little disappointed- it seemed like we got the last supplies. Bacon - which I love seemed old and tough - not crispy. In the bigger scheme of things - this is that could effect mug experience but for us was a minor because everything else was great. CHECKOUT - so so easy. Handed my keys in and walked out. Got my invoice in my inbox. So efficient! NOTE: I want to highlight Dipesh (GRM) When we had a minor issue in the room with towels Dipesh was there - brought us a fresh set within minutes of calling. Then I left my pillow after checkout and contact Dipesh … who let me know the next day that it had been found and I could pick it up. This gentleman had the most amazing “can-do” attitude. So refreshing to have good old fashion service available. Well-done Dipesh. You made our experience so much more pleasant and sweeter. Well done Hilton for employing Dipesh. You need to “clone” him - because then you will have the best hotel-chain. LOVED LOVED LOVED OUR STAY!! We will be back!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and facilities. My partner and I stayed in the Premier Suite for my birthday and our 1 year engagement anniversary. The bathroom is so luxurious and the bathtub is to DIE FOR in this room, but the only TINY thing about the bathroom is the giant beautiful shower has no storage. It could do with some shelving and maybe an in shower seat as the water gets extremely hot (yay!) and you could basically have your own sauna. Not a complaint at all, just an area of consideration. Otherwise, so beautiful and so relaxing. The bed is gigantic and soft, and the pillows were great. The view from our 19th floor room? Phenomenal. The sunset was breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating. They truly made our day relaxing and stress free. We ate at the restaurant for lunch upon arrival and breakfast, of course. Nothing but great reviews from us as far as their food goes! The general manager also greeted us and the rest of the guests during breakfast and I thought that was such a lovely gesture. Extremely personable staff, all around. I am so impressed. I've travelled quite a lot and stayed in many Hiltons and this has BY FAR left a very lasting impression. We will absolutely be back!

The hotel is conveniently located to the waterfront, restaurants and some attractions. Our room appeared to be recently updated with everything in good condition. The room was reasonably clean but there were areas that needed more attention. While I’m usually saying the lighting in hotel rooms needs to be brighter, here there needs to be an ability to dim or turn off some lights. Plenty of outlets but no USB outlets. The toilet seat doesn’t seem to quite fit the toilet. No ice machines on the floors. You go to the bar or restaurant to get ice. If you want it delivered to your room there is a charge. The hotel has a pool but it was way too cold to go swimming. The included buffet breakfast was nice with an omelet station. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient. Overall a nice staff but for the price you expect more attention to detail. Note: The Hilton Darwin is a cashless hotel. Despite this they charge a 2% credit card fee. They do not accept cash

Do your self a favor go elsewhere to eat. The place is surrounded by plenty of excellent restaurants to choose from. I’m sorry I didn’t. I was so exhausted flying in from Alaska I did not have the energy to go out. I expected more from the name Hilton being a gold member. If your looking to have a nice classy dinner in room dining this is not the place. The menu is cheesy and the preparation is not good the food is just thrown together. I ordered a chicken salad wrap, there was more wrap and salad then chicken. I felt totally ripped off. Then I ordered breakfast to my room the night before. 7:30 am a knock on my door came with a ham and cheese sandwich 🥪, in like some soup kitchen service type doggie bag. I thought this is a bad dream somebody please wake me up... I was told they did not have time to prepare what I ordered. I’m thinking how much time do you need to prepare some bacon and eggs. Not a happy gold member. Very insulated and disappointed

A well located high end hotel. It is a short walk form the restaurants and shopping centres, as well as a comfortable walk or short cab to attractions and the popular waterfront precinct. Like many top end businesses, the Hilton is "made" by it's staff. Housekeeping checked in with us regularly because we didn't ask for room servicing while we were there. They literally asked us if we were really OK, as they were used to people wanting cleaning every day. Rosie and all the team down in Pepperberry's are all stars. They make awesome coffee, smile and chat, making us feel warmed, welcomed, and valued. Check in staff were flawless. They never needed to trouble shoot any problems because there weren't any. Marketing is doing well as we got timely, well priced options for upgrades and services like harbour views and free drinks. We'll back.

Vielen Dank! Wir kommen wieder :)
