Kinloch Lodge — Local services in District of Canberra Central

Kinloch is a very poor dormitory. When you sign the contract, the bond is not submitted to the government but kept by UniLodge management themselves. If you want to terminate the lease early due to medical or other reasons, they will say you do not meet the medical condition requirements and will not explain it clearly!

As for the living conditions: there is no heating at night in winter—they claim it is for environmental reasons. In summer, there is also no air conditioning at night. When you move in, they do not clearly inform you of the heating and cooling hours, but keep emphasizing that since you signed the contract, you must comply. Every semester, there are room inspections!

When you move out, they will always charge you a cleaning fee regardless of the situation. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed and noisy, and the elevators...

Not the best student accommodation around ANU. Advantage of you have your own private room however many do not come with a fully functional oven which is hindrance. Also comparatively more expensive than other student accommodation and if you have a car you will not only have to fork up an arm and a leg for the rent but sell you left kidney to afford their parking. Lacks the student atmosphere would definitely recommend...
