Target Fremantle — Attraction in Fremantle

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE My friends and I just got kicked out of target long before the official closing time. I am not sure if this worker was being racist because one of my friends has Asian heritage or if she was fat-shaming us.

She kicked us out for leaning on the side of the squish-mellow crate, and claims she heard some sort of crack. None of us heard anything and she was around 15 metres away from the scene.

Even if our behaviour did have any affect on the crate, we should’ve just received a warning or been asked to step away rather than the staff member rudely evicting us. Not to mention she took it upon herself to escort us down the escalator and out of the store like we had purposely vandalised the property of the facility.

This was a very disappointing scenario as we were loyal customers and liked the chill vibe and all the friendly staff. However, after this unnecessarily humiliating experience, we will not be returning. We have no intention of harming the successful business of target however we feel that it is necessary to inform future customers of...

It is tired. It needs rejuvenation.

I suppose Fremantle is lucky to have Target still because the town is dead on it's feet except for cafe's eateries and tourist attractions.

No much shopping is down there these days.

They stuffed up the whole renovation where Myer used to be and have given up too much ground to residential housing to ever be a significant commercial or shopping area now.

Blame the local council, local government and town planners deliberately wanted to shut-down Fremantle is my guess.

Fremantle used to be a popular shopping destination for grocery shoppers, clothes shopping, it had white goods and electrical stores.

There was a lot of jealousy about Fremantle, back in the day. Well they jumped on it real good, those powerful people that are shaping Perth these days.

Horrible job they are doing.

Target is symptomatic of the decline of the whole place.

It is much reduced, from what is was, and is struggling to survive.

It might last another year, if we are lucky.

Business needs better support in...

I love target 🎯 You are welcomed by a staff member at the entrance! Directions are at the ready if needed and staff around store, on floor for any queries regarding product and / or sales! With price check docking stations throughout the store. Prices that you have to look twice at because they are so reasonable! At checkout it is also the same, any queries regarding your purchases and / or sales prices / deals!, are answered and if they are unsure the register will answer them on your docket! Lovely calm setting makes it a joy to shop there.
