We have visited HOTA a number of times since the 2021 opening. This small and interesting gallery is located on a bend on the Nerange River about half a kilometer behind Surfers Paradise. For a regional gallery, I think it punches above its weight, having successfully held many exhibitions and the Bleach festival. In addition there are performance spaces, open event areas, restaurants, bars and a very nice roof top viewing terrace. We have driven to HOTA during the week, and there was on site parking, this might not be true for say over the Christmas break.
