It’s not only such an amazing place to enjoy the sunset but also a ferry stop. Moreover, there are public toilets adjacent to the ferry ticket office. In my opinion, the waterfront landscape in the Gold Coast is highly underrated and I suggest you check out at least once, especially when the weather is good.

Beautiful and peaceful spot. I suggest chilling here for sunset on the off peak seasons away from holidays or schoolies. Nice spot to unwind after work. It overlooks the Nerang river. West Surfers pavilion is the building on the right.

Catch the ferry to view canals and Nerang River or a Morning Tea cruise or Seafood Buffet lunch from Appel Park. Relax sitting riverside watching the black swans and river craft glide by or try a Jet ski or Jet Boat ride from based pontoons. Sunset viewing is absolutely awesome with a light show after dark. Pretty changing pastel coloured lights are reflected into the giant shade trees.
