Great place for local foods. Opens at 6am Sunday in the HOTA carpark in Gold Coast. Good variety of local veges, fruits, fresh meat, fish, oysters, processed meat, bread, jams, ice-cream, flowers even gin and other local produce. Also has a sizeable choice of cooked food from different countries eg pizza, Moroccan, , Hungarian, Filipino, French dishes, smoked salmon, Asian plates, etc. In particular, check out the fresh produce large stall as you enter the market (see photo) where most of the veges and fruits are grown by My and her family. The pie / sausage roll shop (see photo) near the seating area and newspaper stand sells the best meat pies there, and there is a stand that sells only blueberries and raspberries - amazing blueberries. Good to walk around and have a look and if you want to rest or eat the food, the Art centre has plenty of park area, benches. Best to go bright and early as it does get pretty busy, things get sold out and the weather gets quite hot later...

The night markets at HOTA offer a vibrant atmosphere and solid variety, with some standout eats — the wagyu stall, in particular, was impressive. That said, not all vendors hit the mark on flavour, and queues can be chaotic. At The Lamb Shop, I waited nearly 30 minutes only to find they'd almost run out of food. Pricing felt inflated across the board — $18 to $20 for fries with a token sprinkle of minced meat and beans, which seemed unjustified. Still, it’s a worthwhile experience for the ambience and selection, just go with patience and an...

Talk about a for smorgasbord. Around every corner is a new delight with a different culture and flavour. If you're a foodie these markets are a must. You'll be upsetting your taste buds if you don't. Fresh fruit and vegetables to everything fried under the sun. Take your swimmers for some lakeside swimming fun. Vegans, vegos and GF you'll find yourself well catered for. The best blue berries in the world are found here but get in quick as they go fast. Plenty of nutritional products also available. Saturday and...

A lovely experience! A lively market teeming with fresh produce, friendly vendors and lots of cool places to eat. Would highly recommend the kransky sausages, but be aware there seems to usually be a line. It was raining when we attended, but there were plenty of covered spaces available. HOTA also has plenty of suitable places to sit, go to the bathroom, etc! Do note that some of the food options do get a little more expensive in price. However, would highlighly recommend!
