Sea Emperor — Attraction in Gold Coast City

I’m someone who always reads reviews before visiting a place, so I came in with some expectations. While the food itself was decent, the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. I would think twice before coming here

The woman with glasses seemed quick to judge, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. When I ordered, I felt a bit rushed — she was already trying to get me to pay before I could even ask for a can of Fanta. It felt like she just wanted me out of the way.

I also asked for a tray since I was sitting on the other end and wanted something to carry both my drink and food on. She hesitated multiple times before giving me one, and even said, “Don’t overfill your food,” in a tone that came across as unnecessarily condescending, as if I was there to take advantage of the meal. It really put me off.

To top it off, the tray she handed me was dirty, with leftover food stuck in the corners. I ended up returning it because it was so unclean.

It’s disappointing because the food was actually nice, but the poor communication and rushed, judgmental attitude made the experience far less enjoyable. This restaurant had containers of food for sale. 1 container for $5 and 4 containers for $15. As I was about to make my purchase I was told that I cannot get 4 for $15 unless I had a rice dish which I did not want. The lady working then told me it would $20 for 4 containers. I had chosen a noodle dish, an egg dish, a sweet n sour dish and a honey chicken dish. 4 containers 2 contains meat. She told me I could not purchase the egg one because everyone is taking the meat there for I would have to purchase a rice dish. But that was not classified as apart of the sale on the sign. Therefore it was false advertisement. Her attitude was terrible and she was very loud, obnoxious and rude. Definitely need to change the sign instead of making up stuff on the spot when a customer is about to give you hard earned money. She also rushed me to pay which I believe is unacceptable and unnecessary also considering there was no customers waiting behind me. They list bunch of the drinks in front of and the left side the cashier table. My 5 years old son intend to check what drink they have, and back to the table to tell me which drink he wants. ( ps: because we already order the food first, so I stay around the table with the food). There was no body in front of the cashier, my son standing in front of the drinks and check which flavor he wants and come back to tell me. The cashier lady assumed that my son was cutting in front of other customer, she’s very rude to him and ask my son not standing there, and ask me remove my kid from the front desk. I taught the cashier lady, my 5 years old son hasn’t money with him, he just want to check which drink he like. I don’t know why she just keep talk back to me and very aggressive.
