Contemporary Art Tasmania — Attraction in Hobart

Visit to the museum with my special needs son and I found the building interesting but the contents especially the modern stuff was not art worthy - probably 20% ok but also found staff indifferent - too busy talking to each other and directions on how to transverse thru the maze confusing, an altercation between my son and a museum performer jarring when I felt they could have entertained the behaviour of an intellectually disabled person for a minute without calling security because he was interrupting their idea of live ‘art’ and the cost steep. Don't bother coming to this place early in the day for their Dark Mofo exhibit - it's an empty room with some potted plants and sofas. I'm told there will be stuff going on later, but it's not clear why it's even open...
