Really good bridge outbound and a quick way from Monash/Westgate to the Tulla and areas around Docklands like Footscray. Not so great in the other direction. The three lanes all go to different places with 80% of the traffic funneling into a single lane to go onto the Monash East bound. Getting down the Lorimer Street, Kings Way and Westgate West bound is usually fine. Choose your lane early.

What can I say guys it's a bridge gets you from a to b is handy links up with the Tullamarine freeway if heading north & CityLink heading south is part of the CityLink network and it's not a freeway it costs money to use this brige

Never thought I could review the Bolte Bridge but sure why not. I like driving on it, especially outbound, towards the airport where to hang a tight left for like 270 degrees like you're Colin McRae in Segarally.

what is the Melbourne Citylink act 1995 ?? what is going on? is the question a normal sensible person asks when legislators are making provision for private corporation to leech more money of the true natural born owners of this land that are 2nd to the real owners that have been here for 50000 years and i'm sure they share my views, how dare you plonk a road down into our dominion and have the f**ng audacity to charge people money to use, it's theft , it's criminal, non of the money made stays in this country , the jobs created are in the Philippines , profits for foreign investors.

the system implemented to run it is a damn rort, 1km of travel (1 ramp) $4.00 but there is no way to pay for $4.00 so you have to pay $25 or you have to open an account and its still min of $10 but if i open an account i'm agreeing to the terms , I can't contact anyone to make a complaint it all leads to dead ends.

this is it people this is it, when your own government which i never trusted anyway is a conspiring party to the molestation of it's own people by allowing this corporate money grab using bully tactics and forcing things upon everyone, disobeying constitutional laws that the people put in place, it's safe to see we have been taken over by tyrants and it didn't just happen now, it happened a while ago, we are just waking up to it and the tyrants are well and truly on the way to Mussolini dictatorship...

The Bolte Bridge in Melbourne, an iconic structure, spans the Yarra River, serving as a key link in the city's transportation network. Its sleek, modern design stands out amidst Melbourne's skyline, captivating both locals and visitors alike. The bridge, named after former Premier Sir Henry Bolte, boasts a distinctive architectural style characterized by its striking twin concrete pylons and unique geometric shape.

Its role in easing traffic congestion is pivotal, providing vital connections between major roads and freeways. The bridge's intricate engineering allows for smooth traffic flow, enhancing accessibility throughout the city. Its sweeping views of the Melbourne skyline and the river offer a scenic drive, attracting tourists seeking panoramic vistas.

However, during peak hours, congestion can challenge its efficiency. Despite this, ongoing efforts to optimize traffic management aim to alleviate these issues. The Bolte Bridge stands as a symbol of Melbourne's innovation in infrastructure, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal, a testament to the city's commitment to modernity and...
