I write this review with a heavy heart. I have had positive store experiences here with knowledgeable and talented sales representatives such as Rag, Mo, Krishna, and Roe. However, after my Samsung Flip 4 was damaged even as the case recommended by the salespeople (which was secured on the phone) did NOT protect my phone from damage (I paid an extra 80 dollars for officially sanctioned Samsung branded protection), I am now being expected to pay an incredulous 523$ (as of 27/10 15:14) for repairs, as my phone which I took care of and valued like a infant is now held ransom by the very same store that sold it to me (I waited several weeks for this response btw).
I DID NOT like my interaction with Beth over the phone. She was unempathetic of my plight and it's ridiculous considering she is a manager of her respected area. She told me to "calm down" as I was clearly upset at the resolution and decision regarding this extremely unfair, unethical, and anti-consumer decision.
As one of the top, most influential reviewers in Melbourne. I will attest that I no longer wish to support JB HI-FI Bourke St. Because of how unfair and unjust this outcome was for me. I have been supporting the store for years as evident in my past receipts and can be referenced in the database. This is absolute garbage, I do not accept this decision and I will be taking matters further. I will consult my international legal team (confidential so you guys don't harass them) and I will establish the best legal remedy to ensure that I am justly compensated for this unethical behaviour against my character. I will also push this same message on my Instagram of almost 6, 100 followers to ensure that people think twice before investing in a phone plan or anything of that sort with a store lacking so much empathy, consideration and logic behind how they choose to resolve customer disputes.
I am highly disappointed in all of the staff involved, and just know I will not rest until I am provided restitution, retribution and compensation for all the stress that has been induced by this incident. I am clinically diagnosed with acute stress disorder and this situation did not help my condition in the slightest.

REALITY
When I visited the store to get a samsung watch this morning I referred with the price from office works provind that price was $349 and I would like to make a purchase at the JB as I“m their currently client.
The sales person told me they contacted the office works and they didn“t have any watches available and for this reason they couldn“t sell me for $349 but they could do $420. I immediatly went to office works and the watch was available so I made the purchase.
When confronted the Matty the female manager with the watch and receipt on my hands she couldn“t give the reason why she refused to sell me for the same price.
I felt ofended as I'm a regular client of this store for quite long time purchasing many devices such as an iphone and as many others to be treated like that when looking for my rights. Was very disrespectful and rude from the manager and the sales person for lying to me so they didn“t have to sell me the watch.
I would like to receive a formal apology for the inconvenience caused me. I shouldn't be treated like like that.

I went to see a warranty thing for my DJI mini pro 4, because it has 2 issues, so I talked to this guys with glasses and black skin, since the first moment he was with a very bad attitude, He told me to show him the drone and the problems, and after that he said: ah ok, but I have no idea of this, and we don't fix this things, you have to call DJI.
And I was like, but why, if I bought it here and it is warranty, I also had the receypt, and he was yes but sorry you have to call them and they can fix it, he having a very bad attitude, he shouldn't be working with people at all, no solutions. After 5 minutes I left upset, and I went to another JB hifi, to make sure what he said was right.
But my sorprise in the other JB Hifi the were very friendly and helpfull and I thought they were going to hold my drone and send it to DJI and fix it, but no! They gave me a new one or a refund, whatever I get it, so I took the replacement. So I thought the other guy had no clue at all, so bad attitude and so useless. Sorry for JB Hifi because I really loke this store but they don't know how to hire people sometimes. 4 stars to JB hifi And 0 to this guy š
