Probably the worst souvlaki and kalamakia we have ever eaten! Came at midday, was told they have run out of chicken, even though it had just opened. My husband ordered the lamb souvlaki. I ordered two lamb kalamakia. For a place that had just opened you would think the tzatziki was fresh, but it looked old, as the sides were all dried up. I know fresh tzatziki as i make it weekly. The lettuce was also wilted and some parts brown. We did not order salad or tzatziki in the souvlaki. My husband's souvlaki was mainly pita (very oily) with more onion than lamb, which was overdone. My lamb skewers in comparison were chewy, red and bloody. I wish i took a photo but i didn't think as i spat it out, and my husband instinctively got up to return it and get two new skewers. The guy said he would recook the same ones for me? My husband told him, no you need to remake new ones for us please. Then we sat down, and he came back to us a minute later and said they have run out of skewers! The guy was young and disoriented, it actually looked like he had just rolled out of bed and had not slept. At least he was kind enough to offer us a refund for the skewers. Very poor representation of what a traditional Greek Souvlaki should be! Ended up at Souvi Street in Collingwood instead where we ate authentic pork skewers and souvlaki instead, and where the atmosphere and service were more on par with what a souvlaki is...

I rarely write reviews, but this place honestly deserves one for how bad it was. The customer service was a complete joke — the woman at the counter was unbelievably rude, acting like serving customers was a burden. To make things worse, the owner was literally arguing in the shop while customers were standing there. Super unprofessional and uncomfortable.
I ordered a chicken and salad meal with extra meat, paid extra for it — and what I got was a tiny portion that looked like a regular order cut in half. It was so stingy it was almost laughable. I thought maybe I was overreacting, so I ordered the same thing from one of their other branches in Thornbury on my way home where I go all the time (without paying for extra meat) and the portion was way bigger!
See photos for reference — especially the amount of feta they put on the salad and the presentation. You can clearly see the difference. I honestly don’t know how much money they think they’re saving by serving such low quantities and arguing with their customers instead of just doing their job properly.
Save your money and go to their other branches or literally anywhere else. This one’s a total rip-off — rude staff, owner arguing, and pathetic serving sizes....
Read morePlaced an order via their app and sat outside with my special needs brother, waiting for my name to be called. After 10 minutes, I thought something was off, so I went in to check.
Turns out, the staff member was out the back and had no idea an order had even come through. Great system. If this had been a delivery, you'd probably still be waiting.
Eventually we got our meals: 2x chicken and chips packs. First impression: cold meat. Second: tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge, unwrapped, for days. I kept trying to eat it, hoping it would get better. It didn’t. It was genuinely awful.
I went back in to say the food was inedible. The staff member’s response? A shrug and “So what do you want me to do about it?” I asked for a refund. He asked how much I paid, I gave the menu price and mentioned the public holiday surcharge. He replied, “Yeah, but you didn’t pay the surcharge, did you?” I told him I did and offered to show proof. He backtracked, “Ah, didn’t know the app charges that”, then said, “Anyway, I don’t care, it’s not my store,” and tossed me the cash.
We walked all the way from the city to try this place. What a waste of time and energy. Colossal...
