Italian Pizza made the way it should be! TLDR : Just go and try one (or more) If you are not wed to the Pizza Hut/Domino's style of "cheap as possible mass produced cheesey, bready, salty and oily style, then you'll love the authentic pizzas from these guys. Our first intro to these guys was doing their Pizza Master Class in their Subi shop on Hay St where we got a first hand insight into their passion for making quality pizzas from quality ingredients. The flour, the tomato's for the sauce, the low moisture mozzarella, the fresh, hand picked, basil leaves, the salami, the chilli, the local Burrata etc etc all are first class, highest quality, authentic ingredients. The above, combined with, the imported, authentic Italian Pizza oven and the teams experience in making pizzas and their related variations.... Unbeatable. I could not fault it. (Rare for me) And before you think it.. No.. I am not a mate of the owner, I did not get a free meal and I am not some random from another state (or country) doing a Fivrr gig.

I have had il locale pizza twice before from the Scarborough store and was astounded by the quality and service. However my visit to the Subiaco store left me really underwhelmed and quite disappointed if I’m being honest. Firstly my vegetariana pizza was covered in oil. I understand the wet ingredients such as pesto and mushrooms carry a lot of water but the box and my pizza was dripping with oil which is really disappointing. Luckily my partners pizza was good but when we both went to have the $5 nonna’s sauce to salvage my pizza it was severely watered down and bland. The amount served in the cup and taste were not worth the $5. Plus on my pizza I asked for olives but we got home and my pizza had no olives. I am really upset and disappointed as I had hyped this place up and was left feeling upset paying $63.94 for food I couldn’t finish :(

Wow, this place gives another famous pizza place, Monstrella, that also serves excellent pizza, located in Wembley, a run for it's money! Loved the white sauce pizza. Had the Tramonto yummy totally loved it and you have to eat the wood fired pizza on the spot. Left half the next day and while still good, wasn't as great. Also had the Piggy. Yummy spicy salami and if u have kids. They will love the pineapple (but tell them to hold the chills), my kids both loved the Tramonto and the Pineapple. Will definitely be back. If you're intending to eat there. Pls come early. Only a few tables. Bueno appetitto.

I've ordered from here twice and both times i found it very underwhelming.

The pizza itself is mediocre, which is fine because it isn't that expensive, but the real problem is that they don't cut the pizza. They have this noted on their uber eats menu and tell you to request it cut in the delivery notes if you want it cut. The first time I ordered, I forgot and it got sent uncut. Okay, sure, that's on me. But the second time I explicitly request the pizza cut, and they still sent it to me uncut. Fool me twice and all that.

Ostensibly this is to keep the pizza warmer for longer, but the issue is when you order thru an app it gets to your door ice cold anyway. So you are left with the absolutely miserable experience of trying to cut a cold, congealed pizza with a kitchen knife, an eminently avoidable ordeal!

I get that I, a person who simply wants to order a pizza and then eat slices of pizza without needing my own pizza cutter, am probably not the target audience for this restaurant, but like if you say you'll cut the pizza on request and then fail to do that, it's a pretty massive ball to drop.

I imagine the service is probably better in person, but I certainly don't intend to return...

Best in the West, and it’s not even close.

I have lived in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne enjoying some of the best pizzas nationwide. Upon moving to Perth (south) I have spent the past four years in search for a pizza worth the money, unfortunately nothing south of the river provided that experience. A few months ago I bit the bullet and drove north to experience the best rated pizzas. Through great advertisement and amazing reviews I stumbled across ‘Il Locale’ THE BEST IN THE WEST.

Now, if you only eat pizza once a year, this is the only pizza you should eat!

Feathery light dough with a beautiful wood fire oven char, an amazing backside with minimal flop providing an easy eating experience, and most importantly, fresh ingredients of the highest quality. The dough provides the experience and the toppings generate the climax, and I can’t stop thinking about ‘Il Locale’ THE BEST...
