Arriving on a Saturday during launch week, just after 3pm, we found there was no long queue. The interior space was very minimalist with some cute burger cushions on the lounge seating. The menu however, changes with specials weekly/monthly using great pop-culture references. I ordered the classic Cheeseburger quickly followed by the BL Beef burger. And found delivery was fast - under 9min for the cheeseburger and 6 for the BL Beef. The Cheeseburger was a multifaceted assault of flavour. American cheese melted all round, the sauce placed above the cheese was perfect (no thousand island/seafood sauce dressing taste like in burger project). It was a great combination of zesty tomato and sweet mustard relish sauce ratio - a house secret I'll bet. The brioche bun was soft, though not as doughy as Royal Stacks. The patties on each burger were both cooked to a med-well done setting. With larger meat chunks from the grinding process, surprisingly it didn't retain a raw flavour, which I prefer. To complete the burger assembly, sliced pickles and diced onions were placed underneath the patty. The BL Beef contained the lettuce, tomato and cheese as well as extra crispy bacon. The sauce, was a mustard/pickle aioli, which was fine, however, I prefer a tomato based sauce. For the burger fans out there in Parramatta and surrounding areas, you don't need to travel too far for BL anymore. Hope you enjoy.

Located in Centenary Square Parramatta, this venue serves Burgers and the like. Seating areas are available inside and outside. I love their trendy decor especially the bold and colourful wall. Dishes I’ve tried: Flame Canada, Mr T-ruffle, Mac n Cheese and Fries. Everything was delicious and faultless really. I loved both burgers. The Flame Canada was spicy and flavoursome. I appreciated the perfect level of spiciness (for me). Sometimes when the dish is very spicy it ruins the whole taste. Not the case for this Flame Canada. Mr T-ruffle was awesome, especially for truffle lovers like me. It’s good that the truffle was just enough for me to enjoy without going overboard. The fries, wow! Thin and crispy with great flavours. You know sometimes at burger places the fries are just so-so? Not here! I would happily just come by for the fries. Last but not least was the Mac n Cheese. Without going too cheesy, their Mac n Cheese was quite unique. Definitely not the taste that I expected. It’s yum tho, don’t get me wrong :) Overall, everything that I tried was perfect (for me)!

Best burgers in Sydney. I think where Bar Luca excels are it’s ‘non-classic’ style burgers. If you’re here for say cheeseburgers or fried chicken, wouldn’t be surprised if you thought it was just ‘meh’. Blame Canada is the only thing you should go for here. Love how balanced it is between sweetness (from the maple glazed bacon) and saltiness. Buns are soft. Patties cooked perfectly - not dry like a lot of places. Today tho, fries weren’t seasoned as well. Buns were a little cold. One thing I did find tho from our visits for the past 8 years was that it’s BL/Loaded by BL branches aren’t as consistent as it’s OG Bar Luca (in Circular Quay). Service at BL Parramatta is ALWAYS great - served by the same waitress every time were here. Always super friendly & helpful!

UPDATE March 2023 Gave this place a second go to try the signature BL burger. Another disappointment. Very mediocre at best. Beef patty was thin and dry. Everything else was so basic I could’ve thrown it together at home. Sauce was a knockoff of the Big Mac sauce. Chips were stale I didn’t even bother. Threw them out. Not coming back. — ORIGINAL REVIEW After reading reviews and recommendation by my colleague to get blame Canada, I was quite disappointed. Comprised of a beef patty, candied maple glazed bacon, chips/gravy (in the burger) and a creamy sauce the combination is a disaster. It feels like a child put together their most random fav ingredients in a burger. Lacked freshness or acidity. The flavour was marred by grease, cream and sugar. I’ve had similar burgers at other joints so unsure why this one was so impressive. I do want to go back and try their BL beef which I’m sure I’ll love. As for now, it’s a...
