Worst Dining Experience Ever! #Google this restaurant should be taken off fancy restaurants.

Absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant! Booked for my son’s birthday, requested a cake and wheelchair access, but both were a disaster. Wheelchair access was blocked, and we had to move heaters and chairs ourselves while staff stood by.

Ordered all-you-can-eat, and it was a huge disappointment—burnt, dry, overly salty meat, and a sad excuse for a salad that tasted old with 3 leaves of lettuce in it. When I mentioned the food was bad, the waiter ignored me and walked away. Manager was even worse, dismissing my feedback and just rushing me to pay $616 for 1 adult & 3 kids!

And the birthday cake? A single scoop of vanilla ice cream after waiting 15 minutes the restaurant had few customers on Tuesday night, so not busy at all.

Terrible service, inedible food, and a manager who doesn’t care. This place should not be considered a fancy restaurant. Avoid at all costs especially if you have any event. So are you replying to my feedback with this attitude that you Don't care and trying to say that I'm lying and all my feedback was not right. We have been asked how was your meal and if you are ready to order more, my feedback to the waiter was the food is not nice too salty and we will not be ordering more and my feedback like this went to 2 waitresses not one, an Asian guy and the main waitress was serving us, and in this case the both waitresses just ignored me and walked away both not only one as if I said nothing, we got to the payment I said to the same waiter I need to give my feedback regarding the food he said he will grab the manager, and this is the worst part where the manager came and tried to ignore the whole thing so he grabbed the eftos machine and directly proceeded to payment and said the amount to pay, so I said I need to give my feedback regarding the food he straight away stopped me didn't even let me finish or listen to what I wanted to say and said well did you tell the waitress that because we will change the food and my head was saying Don’t ruin your sons birthday for this I just said just proceed with payment and he did full amount was paid with him smiling like I don't really care smile and that was it, again on the way out disabled access was blocked, Don’t reply with lies you are a horrible manager and need a lot to learn about customer service. You should make people feel happy and appreciated definitely not the way you made me and my kids feel for sure. So...

We decided to visit on a chilly evening to try the 1.4kg tomahawk featuring Black Angus beef, aged for 180 days and sourced from northwest NSW, all for a tempting $99 special price. Alongside this, we ordered a grilled vegetables with watercress salad, a tomato-braised lamb shank, and roasted bone marrow with bread. We spent around $200 in total and yes, my friend and I don't drink  Now, onto the food, not bad. The steak, in particular, was tender and juicy, though my friend preferred the lamb shank. However, the issue here was not with the food; it was the service that left us shocked, marking it as one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered in Sydney. And let me be clear, it’s all from the manager - Dinesh. Upon arriving slightly ahead of our reservation time, we met an individual at the entrance, wearing a suit but lacking any name tag or identification. Trying to break the ice, I approached him with a friendly, "How are you?" To my astonishment, he didn't even bother to respond. My friend, M, looked at me in surprise and asked "Is he an employee or just another customer like us?" In response to my question, the first words out of his mouth were, "You had a reservation?" – without a hint of a smile. I was left puzzled, feeling uncomfortable even before we set foot in the restaurant. We had made an online reservation a week in advance, specifically requesting a window seat with a view, but to our surprise, he led us to a table right in the middle of the restaurant without any explanation, where our chairs were rubbing against those at the adjacent table. M, being a bit on the larger side, simply couldn't fit into the cramped space. I stood up and requested a seat change. Glancing around, I noticed an unclaimed window table tucked in the corner without a reservation tag. I asked if we could be seated there, to which he agreed, once again, with no sign of a smile. I couldn't figure out why he seemed hated us so much, was it because we are Asians just like him?! Dinesh, if you happen to read your own restaurant's reviews, which you should, please be professional. Even the waiters at your restaurant showed more hospitality and warmth than you did. My friend M was so concerned about me, not wishing to see me upset. Actually I was alright, but the experience left...

I wanted to rate this restaurant higher because of the food quality and the view, but service was unfortunately subpar during our visit.

I went here for dinner with a group of friends (six of us). We pre-booked as advised. We arrived at 5.30pm and the host/manager who greeted us was not very welcoming. He immediately said "you are aware that you only have two hours to dine", which we are anyway. We ordered entree and cocktails pretty quickly after we were seated and these were served in a timely manner. However after our entree was cleared, our mains took 40 minutes to serve. By the time we finished mains we had 30 minutes left to which our server asked if we wanted dessert. The host then came to us and asked if we are having dessert or not because he needs the table for the next booking. This really put me off because I would think they would at least leave a gap between our dining slot (finish at 730) and the next group, but he said they are waiting as they have been booked for 730 and he is basically kicking us out. The other waitstaff were actually very nice and helpful.

For the positives, the food are delicious. We had the Halloumi and spicy prawns for entree which were flavourful and cooked well. We all had different types of steak for mains. The steak menu had Marble ratings so the better meat is obviously more expensive. For price reference if I remember correctly, the cheapest one was $60 something. I had the eye fillet cooked to medium which was done perfectly, I have no complaints. They had a whole page of cocktails and photos arranged the like rainbow which was pretty cool, and they were delicious.

The atmosphere is nice. We were seated outside (winter) but there was a gas heater so it was nice and the outlook of the bay was beautiful especially during sunset.

Overall, my experience was mixed due to the host/manager. I would gladly return again for the food,...

****UPDATED REVIEW**** If you’re looking for consistency in food and service this is not the place for you. We had a fantastic NYE dinner here with high hopes for another memorable one only to experience the bare minimum. Unfortunately we were running late but we did call the venue to advise them. During this time our inside table was given away and we were stuck on an awkward side table outside where we got rained on as well. I asked if we could move but apparently they were fully booked. Interesting to see so many walk ins get seated with no booking. 10 minutes passed and no one came up to us. I had to ask for a menu. The ribbed corn was dry and cold but they did well with the halloumi fries at least. We were pressured to order mains because “we are on a time limit”. A word of advice to this venue is no matter how busy you are or even if you have new staff please train your staff to talk properly to customers. It’s quite disrespectful to pressure customers to order their food. For that reason, we wrapped up our entrees, skipped our mains and went to another venue and spent our money elsewhere. ****PREVIOUS REVIEW**** This was the perfect venue for NYE. Waterfront views and only a quick walk to watch the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks. We could see the 9pm fireworks from our seats, as we were seated outside. The food was exceptional. The steaks were cooked well and the mushroom sauce is one of the best mushroom sauces I’ve ever had. The mashed potato was amazing too. I really enjoyed the halloumi fries, Parmesan chips and grilled corn too. We had a warm welcome into the venue by the man who was wearing a hat. Thank-you for a lovely dining experience.
