Located on Gerrale Street, Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. A wonderful place to come for a swim at either the Beach or you can try the Rockpool. There’s very good toilet facilities including disability toilets and showers to get the sand off after your swim. There’s various restaurants, cafes and takeaway options to choose from when you get hungry. There is parking available including disability parking but this is a very popular spot so it can get full very fast especially on the weekends and during school holidays. It is walking distance from Cronulla train station and also bus stops. You have quite a large park where there’s a children’s playground area and quite a few tables and chairs scattered around but again these can be occupied very fast, but you could also just bring your own chairs and/or towels to sit on. I really enjoy coming here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thumbs up!! 👍👍👍

Beautifully blue on this morning as I swam and I baked in an attempt to get a bit of colour on my legs. South Cronulla is more family oriented and has a cozy feel to it. Perhaps that’s why I gravitate there. A great fish and chip shop close by, plus cafes and a five minute walk to the holiday-vibe plaza. But who needs a plaza when you’ve got this? 🏖 11/1 - South ‘nully this morning is gentle and quite still for swimming. Kids do backflips on the sand and young girls in frilly costumes remind you of something past. Families of joy today, still bringing the Christmas spirit. Like July/August in parts of Europe, December/January is our time out. To the right of the second photograph is the Cronulla Pavilion where the lifeguards sit and Barefoot on the Beach, a fab cafe and food place.

South Cronulla Beach Glorious day today at South Cronulla Beach, full sun, air temperature of 27 and water temperature of 21. Beach opened at lunch time, closed before then due to dangerous rips. The water felt warmer than 21, it was great. Lots of beach sand erosion though like most Sydney beaches at this time. Still a great spot. The south side on the steps in front of Surf Club was the pick, near the water and cafes. Up went our umbrella in the holes provided, thank you council.
