Awful. Will never be back. We have been coming for years just for the stone crab and we are always met with bad service. We always tip very well on top of the 15 percent that is automatically applied. Always have to ask for everything twice. We only come for the stone crabs because everything else is practically inedible (salmon was so dry, calamari was rubbery and hard). We called ahead today to ask if there was stone crabs, they said yes and we took a 40 dollar taxi over. We got there and were already met with bad service from what I guessed was the manager. When we walked over he tried to make us stand by the door again while they set up our table. We asked for one bottle of water and got 2. We asked for a beer and never got it, had to ask twice. We asked for an extra bowl, never got it. Everything was unpleasant. We finished our appetizers and ordered our mains, just the stone crabs. After we ordered we waited 10 minutes before our server came back and told us 1 of us needed to change our order cause they would be getting none, 1 would get 3 and one would get 6 (3 of us ordered 6, 18 stone crabs total) Getting told this after calling ahead to confirm, telling them we called to confirm when we got there and ordering them with no issue. Our server didn’t apologize when telling us and was very rude. The manager was even less help. Unfortunate to say that this places best days are behind them and we will not be...

Well first off I read so many reviews and was skeptical to even come but I was jet lagging and tired so this was an easy choice. I read reviews regarding the service, if there was an issue in the past it’s improved. The service was quite friendly and fast... For those who haven’t been to the Caribbean then let me tell you something called island time, nobody is in a hurry so leave your high western standards at the door. That said even with that exception the service was above par for what you’d expect or the reviews said.

The food... Well first the fresh snapper you can’t much go wrong, well made and tender and melt in your mouth. The fish was small but it was good. The conch chowder was decent, certainly fresh and tender conch albeit in a more basic broth with tart or acidic notes and some salt for sure. It did pair nicely with the buttered Johnny cake... The fritters were all fritter no conch, not sure what was going on there but thanks for the hush puppies, though tasty. We had shrimp and rice and peas etc, it was all okay. I have pretty high standards, so I never know if it’s just me or what. The drinks were island style for sure, sweet at can be and they don’t have a dedicated drink menu but seem confident they’ll make...

Visited Poop Deck after reading reviews and was disappointed. The hostess was super nice and personable and got us seated immediately. The waitress that helped us must’ve been having a bad night as she was not friendly at all. I ordered a beer and my partner a strawberry daiquiri. We proceeded to order our food and while we waited for it to arrive snapped some pics of the view. We ordered caesar salsa and green salad, tropical spicy wings, seafood delight entree with rice-peas and vegetables and Mary Ds fried chicken. The best thing of the food was the Caesar salad and wings. The sauce that accompanies the wings is deliciously sweet and spicy and the salad was tossed just right. The green salad was plain and honestly tasteless-very sad salad. The seafood delight included 3 fried shrimp, fried mahj mahi which was flavorless and fried conch. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen thawed out water in microwave and all I could taste was water-not tasty at all. The rice and peas, well, can’t go wrong with that (I think), out of the whole seafood plate it was probably the tastiest item. Was NOT impressed by any means. Yes, the view is gorgeous, but the food lacks flavor. Would not recommend to eat at and will not...

Poop Deck on East Bay Street is a must-visit for fresh seafood, great drinks, and an unbeatable view. The restaurant sits right on the water, offering a beautiful marina view, which makes for a perfect dining experience, especially at sunset. The food was delicious. I had the conch fritters and fish fingers, both cooked to perfection. The conch fritters were crispy on the outside and packed with fresh conch inside. The fish fingers were tender, flaky, and full of flavor. The sides were just as good, with sweet, perfectly caramelized plantains and creamy coleslaw that balanced the meal so well. Everything paired perfectly with an ice-cold Kalik beer, making for the perfect Bahamian dining experience. The service was friendly and efficient, even with how busy it was. I visited on a Monday night, and the place was still packed, which speaks to its popularity. Despite the crowd, the staff was attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. If you are looking for great seafood, an amazing view, and a lively atmosphere, Poop Deck is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and hot- though the restaurant was very full. I was with a large church group for a Saturday outing. We ordered appetizers, main and dessert with different types of drinks. The waitresses were on the top of their game. The kitchen staff had the orders coming out quickly. I had the calamari rings. They were soft with a golden breading. The tater sauce and red sauce complemented the dish well, but the calamari was flavorful and seasoned well enough not to need the additions. The seafood lover platter was delicious with shrimp, conch and mahi mahi. The seafood was not overly seasoned- letting the seafood shine on their own. The side of vegetables were crisp, buttery and delicious. I highly recommend the garlic potatoes- seasoned from the skin to the center. The ambiance emanates “vacation vibes.” We could see the ocean and various boats from the balcony. Various resorts are in the background. We went on a clear day with blue skies and a cool breeze.
