Enjoy Lounge & Restaurant — Attraction in South Caye Caulker

Someone from the restaurant out front invited us in while we were riding by, I said sorry not my vibe-the place was empty-but then I changed my mind, I was just after a good drink, so I decided to give them a try. We had good drinks upstairs and then heard karaoke (which I normally despise) starting downstairs, which sounded shockingly good, so we went down to check it out and get refills. Downstairs was starting to fill up and my partner wanted to sing a song, so we sat at the bar and got fries and more drinks-all good. Somehow, the vibe at this bar, the crowd, the selection of songs, the host, all of it was amazing. This place became a packed scene-people standing out in the streets peering in to the great time being had. I avoid karaoke like the plague-I don’t want to hear some random person sing a random song poorly. This was not that at all. We ate here 3x. Once for dinner and one late lunch. Dinner I had the fried coconut shrimp. They were panko breaded which adds a nice crispness and flavor. They provide a Chipotle mayo that's spicy and good. The fries had a nice seasoning blend. Also comes with cole slaw. The lunch was very good. I got bbq jerk chicken and wife got canjun lobster. Both were fresh and tasty. Only complaint was my chicken was a little salty but I know jerk had tons of spices but it wasn't repulsive. Both came with garlic bread, coconut rice and cole slaw. All very tasty! Service was good but had to flag down the waitress a few times as our original one went on break. Would definitely come back. They have karaoke on Thursday nights if that's your thing but it can get a little rowdy when there is a large group or crowd. For example we had a late snack ceviche which was good Thursday night and a group for a wedding was there and they got a little crazy. Not a kid friendly place...

TERRIBLE place. I took my family to this place and not only did they not greet us, we weren't even given a menu. We had to, after 20 minutes of waiting, get up and get our own menu. When the server finally came to our table, all he had was an attitude. It took almost 2 hours for them just to bring out some nachos. And when we got the wings we ordered, you can smell that it was spoiled. We were going to get up and leave before we had even gotten the food. But when they saw that we were getting up and leaving, they brought someone else's food saying that it was ours so that we wouldn't leave. Because of the terrible atmosphere and terrible service and HORRIBLE, GOD AWFUL food. I will never, EVER in my life, recommend somebody to come to this restaurant.
