During our walk about, this caught our eye immediately. An artist from Alberta was commissioned to design a sculpture for the City of Canmore. Since Canmore means 'Big Head' in Scottish, that was his inspiration. It was installed in 2008 and weighs nine tons. It's right near Policeman's Park and there are several eating establishments in the area. It makes for a nice stroll on a nice evening. Kids will have fun with the idea. If you are lucky you might see it accessorized with a knit cap in the winter or a pirate patch in the summer as the townspeople sometimes...

Opposite the Big Head is the boardwalk surrounded by clear pristine water, continue straight ahead is the main st of Canmore, aligned and adorned with flowers, creating a very inviting atmosphere in the summer, loving the coffee shops with seating under trees canopies. Smells of sizzling foods, coffees, bubbles tea. All my friends from Australia wanting to book a...

Just a head in land @ centre of town. Parking is 150 meter away from this spot. Free parking is available for cars. Walking surrounding of town is superb experience but this place is okay type, not so great. It can be avoided, if you want to spare more time on other sightseeing’s.
