A neat spot with several different play areas for all ages. As an out of towner I might have appreciated getting there being better marked-there was very limited street parking and we weren’t sure if the adjacent areas were permissible for parking or actually connected to the park, and the park was surrounded by a fence and we walked a long way to get to the front when there was an unmarked gate we mistook for a probably-locked service access. But inside is wonderful. Lots of seating areas, plenty of shade, even a separate area for adults to use bodyweight equipment for actual exercise.

One of the best play park for kids and even adult in Canmore with GYM for free check the images & videos. The park is sorrounded by breath taking mountain view. The park has accessible play structure and lots of monkey bar, swing, slides, train etc very interactive. Entire playstructure area is padded for safety and the whole park is fenced. There is a football ground, run track, enough restroom and parking, there is even a body weight gym for free which is just amazing. Over all highly recommemded park in heart of Canmore. A great venue for large events! This large park nestled with the Rockies is not only a great picnic spot but also as a venue for large events. Today I attended the Canmore Highland Games and the excellent grounds helped to make it a great event. From the well maintained landscaping to the fence around the lot to make sure people don't sneak in without paying, it's certainly a great place! I would recommend to anyone looking for a good picnic spot not far from downtown Canmore or event organizers planning large gatherings.

Wonderful park located right in the heart of the town, and a perfect venue for the Canmore Folk Music Festival (see photos). As an 11-year employee of the festival, I was SOOOO grateful when they replaced the floor and the infrastructure under the floor while preserving the structure of the Stan Rogers Memorial Stage, rather than demolishing it (which they were considering doing). Always a treat to work here for sure!

Our go to park when in Canmore. The kids love it. It is big enough with many options so if it is a weekend this is your best bet. It also has some exercise machines outside for the parents or older kids. Also the whole park has fence around it so it feels pretty safe with the little ones. It is not too far from town center with many options to grab a good coffee on your way here to watch the kids play 😄

Fantastic park. Fully fenced with a large playground for all ages up to 12 plus swings and permanent workout stations along the perimeter of the playground. Nice clean benches and picnic tables. Public bathroom just further to the eastside (opposite direction from main st). Beautiful homes in the area as well as bordering the south shore of Policeman's Creek.
