We went to this place upon calling them that we would be reaching there 30mins before closing time for dine-in and if they would allow us to dine-in and one of the staff member agreed to it. Upon arrival, the person at the counter said its almost closing time, when I said I called in before coming, she checked with other staff members and accepted the order for dine-in which is good and we appreciate it. We ordered satay bowl, budda bowl and a gourmet grilled cheese. Satay bowl, budda bowl were good and we enjoyed it. But the gourmet grilled cheese says that they would use whole wheat sourdough which would have been worth the price (13$). But unfortunately it was not sourdough. It was just a regular whole wheat bread which we get in Walmart or any grocery store. Not worth the money. Overall, the ambience is good, food was nice.

Did I or did I not wait in the car for twenty minutes til 9:30 AM to eat here when it opened? And when I walked in at 9:31 AM, there were already two other people ordering at the counter. The food was delicious. The vibes were immaculate. The WIFI was very necessary because my US phone service failed me. All the sandwiches I got were flavorful; wherever they source their bread, those folks need to be given a raise. Their mocha was very necessary for my caffeine-addicted brain. Their food nourished me to feel human again after a very early and underwhelming visit to Lake Louise (I know, hot take). I wish I could bring this restaurant back to Denver; alas, I will settle for the comfort of knowing that many more tourists will get to enjoy the food here when they make their visit to Canmore and Banff.

We come for dinner to this place after spending day at Lake Luise. We ordered dinner for our kids and us. Kids had chicken quesadillas and Buddha bowl and green curry bowl. I had the Budha bowl with chicken. By the looks it was not chicken breast that was a bit let down. Flavor was great. My wife had the Green curry which was so delicious! We were done with dinner and I realized that we didn't receive soup of the day at this point I asked for refund. We were there 1830 it was no busy. They have great selection of tea's as well. We had some Wild Tea kombucha they were very delightful. We are on the way to Calgary and will visit the Wild Tea Kambucha brewery to stock up! Over all great experience other then soup not showing at the table. Thank you.

Terrific menu and very prompt customer service. The place looked really empty from the outside as we pulled to the curb looking for something healthy for take out. I was wrong. As soon as I put my mask on and entered, I noticed a covid-measures-friendly layout. Can't sit on the tables for dine in but you can hang out while your order is being prepared. The lady offered my a great deal called 4-7pm 4bowls for $48. The only down side is having to eat inside your vehicle (trust me on this one , a family of four eating inside a minivan is just a prompt for a sit-com all on its own lol) specially with a toddler . Anyhow ... Thanks for a great service and tasty food. I will definitely recommend Communitea Cafe in Canmore Ab.

Came here for the first time yesterday and was very pleased with the service and food as I ordered double avocado toast and cappuccino for breakfast so I returned very happily again today to expect similar experience and ordered avocado side up sandwich and a regular coffee. I felt let down as the sandwich was below average (bun was rock hard, barely added humus and seeds on it and the popcorn were stale. The coffee was okay but I requested milk in my coffee and it was given on the side which is good but the cup was full with the brewed coffee and I had to drink the bitter coffee to make space for milk. Common sense goes a long way. The service was good on both days. Adding photos.

Quite happy with my experience there! Enjoyed a smoothie bowl after a weekend of eating food that was a little on the rich side... So the light and refreshing bowl was a great change of pace. Atmosphere was great, with lots of visual interest and quirks in the seating/tables that make you feel at home. There is also a great area for parents to enjoy the shop with little-ones in tow. It must have been a little but characteristic of the time I had arrived... But the ladies bathroom had quite the line. Always a shame to have 4 people just standing and staring while they 'dance.' Maybe just changing it to two gender neutral bathrooms would help deal with that issue.
