North West Mounted Police Barracks — Attraction in Alberta

Happened to be in the area when they opened the place up a very cool and informative NWMP historical presentation! There were two volunteers and two police officers there. The volunteere explained a lot of the history in each room and helped attendees get outfitted in classic NWMP regalia when they asked, and the police officers spoke openly about how aspects of the NWMP constitute a rather dark chapter in Canada's history, and how their local detachment has a first nations chaplain who educates them.
