I bought a gender reveal box from here a few days before I needed it, took it home and assembled it all. I took it back the day of my gender reveal and told the cashier that the packaging said that the box fit 6 balloons, so I chose 6 balloons for it. It was going to be 20 min, as there was an order in front of me, so I went to the car to wait. The staff is so slow that the line up is always so long and the only cashier had to call for help multiple times to fill the balloon orders. When I came back inside, my order still hadn't been done and the girl filling the balloons told me that all 6 balloons wouldn't fit in the box. I told her I specifically asked the cashier before I paid for 6, and that it said 6 on the packaging. The 3 staff members behind the till continued to talk about me while trying to figure out what to do in front of the entire line up. I basically had to tell them how to do their job. She finally fit only 3 balloons into the box and told me it was her fault, as they blew them up too large (She blew up and popped over 10 balloons while trying to get them to fit while I stood there and watched) Overall it took almost an hour to get this done and they ended up refunding me for the balloons that didn't fit. Read moreI had a terrible experience, it was my first time at this Party City. I wanted to order some custom balloons for a birthday party and we waited over 20 minutes to receive help. There were barely any customers in line. There were staff members but nobody approached to help us or even made contact with us. They saw us and we’re looking at us but they decided just to stand and talk to each other. They helped other people and greeted them but not us. I tried to ask for help multiple times and they said I have to line up. I wasn’t aware that we had to line up and i’m disappointed nobody came to ask us or let us know. Terrible customer service please review your staff as I will be contacting your HQ to let them know. I’ll be visiting another day to get the names of the staff members. I work in customer service and this is by far unacceptable. When I finally received help after asking multiple times and I explained to them the problem, I did not receive an apology either.
