I’ve visited this beach a couple of times before and had decent experiences, but this most recent visit left me feeling incredibly disappointed — especially as it was my first time going with a baby.
While the beach promotes itself as being family friendly, the rules in practice make it feel anything but. Strollers are apparently not allowed, which makes the beach completely inaccessible for families with young children. A baby can’t sit directly in the hot sand or on a beach chair — they need a secure, shaded place like a stroller to rest. Strangely, we saw many other families using wagons with no issue, so banning strollers feels inconsistent and unfair.
What made the situation even more frustrating is that there was no signage or information anywhere on the property or website indicating that strollers aren’t allowed. We only found out at the front desk when we arrived. Even more confusing, when we asked the lifeguards about it later, they said it was totally fine — so clearly the policy isn’t even clear among staff.
We also brought a small, baby-sized tent so our little one could play safely in the shade, but were told we couldn’t use it — even though there were many personal umbrellas and shade structures set up by other guests. Again, very inconsistent enforcement of unclear rules.
In short, this beach might be great if you’re coming alone or with older kids, but if you have a baby or toddler, I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere. The lack of clear, inclusive policies makes it far more stressful than it needs to be for...
Read moreWe’ve loved visiting the Beach and Tennis Club at Tremblant for years—it’s been a relaxing escape with incredible views, access to the water, and great tennis facilities. But this year felt different… and not in a good way.
The absence of Robert, the longtime barman, has been a major loss. In past summers, Robert was the soul of the place—always welcoming, attentive, and effortlessly elevating the guest experience. He wasn’t just a barman; he is an incredible ambassador for Tremblant. Whether it was recommending a local hike, remembering your favourite drink, or simply sharing a laugh, Robert brought unreasonable hospitality to life in the best way possible.
With new ownership this season, the setting remains beautiful, and the beach and tennis offerings are still available—but the atmosphere has shifted. Without Robert’s presence, there’s a noticeable lack of warmth, personality, and connection. It feels like the beating heart of the Club is missing.
We truly hope the spirit of the place—defined by people like Robert who make you feel like more than just a customer—can be brought back. This location deserves that...
Read moreOne of my favorite beaches! It’s private, well-kept, and we’ve noticed so many positive changes since the new ownership took over. Yes, admission is about $25 per adult and between $8–$15 for kids, but the cleanliness, atmosphere, and friendly staff make it worth it.
The sand and water are always very clean, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. My family and I drive an hour and a half each way, and it’s always worth the trip. Outside food is no longer allowed, but they now have a Mediterranean-style restaurant and the bar is open, which adds to the experience.
I’m excited to see what else the new ownership has planned. This year alone, we’ve already been three times and are planning to return again next week. It really feels like a fresh start for this beach, and so far,...
