Stroll along the Niagara River Recreational Trail, which runs parallel to the Niagara River, to take in the sweeping panorama (fun fact: this trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail, which runs coast-to-coast!)
Along the Falls View trail or Trans Canadian trail, if there is one spot, that offers an unobstructed, direct view of American & Bridal Veil Fall, it's this spot. Across the Queen Victoria Park, you can find it. The view is amazing, and you can have a great time here. Fireworks or seeing boats in Niagara River, or a zipline- all sorts of attractions you can see unfold from here.
The Horseshoe Falls view looks amazing too… and there is not much crowd here, comparatively Horseshoe Falls.

Read moreThey close off this section of the walk 1 hr before the fire works. The fire works starts every night in the summer at 10pm. It’s launched here opposite the US falls. We walked all the way towards the Canada falls because they pushed us to leave without giving us more information. So I removed 1 star for this location to see the fire works, because it’s inaccessible. Just walk back a bit but stay in the US falls area just before where they rope off...
