Grand View Restaurant — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

Normally, I would not write a review, but I was thoroughly disgusted by the service, quality of food and cleanliness of this restaurant, it doesn't deserve the one star but in order to post the review you have to pick a star.

There were 3 young people at the counter having a conversation when we arrived, and we had to wait until they finished their conversation before we could place our simple order of fries and onion rings, the fries were delivered immediately but looked old and were cold, when we stated that we would like fresh fries, I watched the two young ladies take the fries to beside the grill and each have one out of the box and then overheard one of them say "I don't want to make more", then watched them wait until my 8 overcooked onion rings (which we paid $5.50 for) were served and then they gave my husband the same basket of now even colder, fries. I couldn't eat the onion rings because they were so overcooked and greasy.

Then we searched for a clean table, of which there were none. The restaurant was not busy when we went in, there was no line up at the counter, and only a few people scattered around, but not one staff member was wiping down tables. This restaurant boasts a "Grand View", which is about the only thing in had going for it, but there was nowhere clean to sit and enjoy the grand view. There are plenty of really nice restaurants about a block or two from the Falls, trust me, walk the extra few blocks and avoid...

Veggie burger platter is deliciously delicious. Loved it. It comes with extra large fries and it’s good for two people. The coffee tastes fresh and well made.

Not just the food but the best thing is you can watch American Falls right in front of you while munching on your food.

The entry/exit to the Niagara Falls cruise is right around the corner so this location is very crowded considering the awesome view of the falls it has.

It does have plenty of seating area but you will have to fight for the best spot.

No free water/water fountain. Better carry your water bottle than paying $4 for small bottle of distilled water.

Fast food restaurant, so don't expect anything fancy. Your typical pizza, fries, burgers, ice-cream. Fantastic view of both the American and Canadian falls. You can eat inside or outside. It is very clean, staff is freindly. Yes, the price is more than what you may be use to for fast food, but you are paying for the location as well as the food. If you are not prepared to pay a bit more, then go eat further away from the falls. Similar to a hotel, you will pay more for a fallsview room than one that is further away. The portions are pretty good, so you could easily split a foot long hot dog and regular fries between 2...
