Edit to respond** if you can āconfidently confirmā gloves were worn, how come I watched her go directly to a snack size bag of opened kettle chips, pour them in a box and then straight to grab a roll and put it in the toaster oven. All while standing right in my line of sight with her BARE HANDS in her jean pockets while waiting for it to finish toasting. At no time did she go out of view to wash her hands. I watched as she brought out the cardboard box with butter stained finger prints, NOT STOPPING AT ANY POINT TO TAKE OFF THESE ALLEGED GLOVES. She was a young girl and I was going to say it was a one off but looks like the owners are liars too, Gross.
Paid with cash, she gave me change from the money box then went directly back to make my lobster roll. She did not wear gloves and put her hands in her pockets while waiting for it to toast. I thought that was gross so I decided to ask her if she washed her hands. She said āyesā and I was going to believe her and leave, until she blatantly lied and added that she wore gloves. I used to love this place and would frequently travel to the Leduc location for Lobster Rolls and seafood but this was a huge turn off and I probably will never come back to either. Do people not realize how...

Rating: 3.5/5 Stars
I recently visited Lobster Mobster's brick-and-mortar store in Edmonton and tried their lobster roll with chips during my lunch break. While the experience was promising, it fell short of my expectations.
The lobster roll itself was tasty, but it didn't quite exceed my hopes and fell a bit short of expectations. I believe offering both cold and warm versions would add variety to the menu and cater to different preferences. Additionally, I found the brioche bread to be overwhelming (incredibly thick and a lot of bread), overshadowing the lobster filling. Adjusting the bread-to-lobster ratio could enhance the overall experience.
Furthermore, I felt the lobster could use a touch more seasoning and salt. The flavours were somewhat muted, and a bit more seasoning would elevate the dish and add some flavour.
Overall, Lobster Mobster has potential, but there are areas for improvement to truly impress its customers.
I will certainly be supporting them by buying fresh seafood though! And the lobster was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been unsure if I should write this review, but it something that has bothered me since it happened. On NYE my husband called this location half an hour before it closed to place a takeout order for 2 lobster rolls. The lady was quite abbrasive and said they don't offer delivery, so he said no, I will be coming to pick this up. Then she said you don't need to call in, just come in and we will make the order. The reason he was calling ahead was just to save time since they were closing soon, so we drove over there and were there within 15 minutes of the phone call, and he went in and placed the order in person. She said bluntly, oh we don't like you. Even if it was a joke, the first interaction over the phone was less than pleasant. He ended up getting our rolls, and we went on our way. But I won't be coming back, and will be sure to tell my friends and family not to either. I can also understand east coast dry humor, my dad and family are from Newfoundland, but this was...
