We had an absolutely fantastic time with Apex Rafting—easily a 5-star experience from start to finish!

Our bus guide, Jay, was the perfect mix of professional and entertaining, making sure we felt informed, comfortable, and safe before we even touched the water. Once we hit the river, our raft guide, Cade, was equally amazing—professional, friendly, and full of fascinating stories and facts about the surrounding mountains, glaciers, and history.

Booking was a breeze—payment and waivers done online in minutes. We arrived 20 minutes before departure, which was more than enough time to check in and get geared up (the bus ended up leaving after a short wait). The gear was in solid condition—especially the wetsuits and water socks—which kept us warm and comfortable.

The river itself is gentler than Golden’s Kicking Horse River, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and worth every moment. Prices are a touch higher than Golden, but the experience, guides, and atmosphere more than make up for it. We even had two chances to jump in and experience the refreshing (and bracing!) glacier water—such a thrill.

To top it all off, we finished the trip with fresh watermelon and cookies from the guides—a perfect ending. And unlike many other rafting companies, Apex includes trip photos for free (emailed to us the same evening), which was a wonderful bonus, even if the image quality could be improved.

If you’re in Revelstoke and want a safe, fun, and scenic whitewater adventure, Apex Rafting is an easy choice....

We lucked out as we manage to get on the rafting tour at the very last minute. The office was at the lobby of the hotel we were staying and we happily came by just a few mins before the meeting time and we could join. The whole tour was very well organised. We were given gears to change in the change room behind the office. This was inclusive of shoes and a windbreaker to keep us warm. We did not have to bring anything even our phones/camera as pictures will be taken and given to us (no extra costs). They then took us by bus to the river where we were going to take the rapid ride. We were divided into groups of 7-8 people per boat. We were very fortunate to have gotten Devon as our guide. The instructions given were clear and she really made the whole experience fun for us. Our group took turns being at the front of the boat where it was the most thrilling. The rapids were not strong just because of the season we took this but it was still a lot of fun nonetheless. After the ride was done, they distributed snacks (pastries and snacks) and took us back to the office. Pictures were sent to our email before I even reach my hotel room. It was an...

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a rafting trip with Apex Rafting, and it was an adventure to remember! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamlessly organized, exhilarating, and incredibly fun. We were lucky to experience the first trip of the season and enjoyed the fun company of our tour guides Graham, Devon, and Kade (missing a couple of names here). This was our first time rafting, and we couldn't have done it with better people.

The rafting itself was thrilling! The river offered a perfect mix of calm stretches where we could enjoy the scenery while sharing some jokes, followed by heart-pounding rapids that got the adrenaline pumping. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We rafted past impressive rocks and logs, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The equipment and safety instructions provided by the team were excellent, and we felt very confident in the quality and safety of the gear. The guides were also kind enough to provide delicious tea and cookies to help warm us up after a couple of hours on the river.

All in all, thank you guys for a memorable and...

Me and my partner had our first experience of white water rafting today and were looked after by Cade, Graeme, and Danny. We couldn't have asked for a better time! We were both a bit nervous but quickly realised what safe hands we were in. We had a gentleman on our boat from Spain that didn't speak any English, but Cade was able to communicate in Spanish just fine, the language barrier didn't faze him one bit! There was a great balance between beautiful scenery and views, informative local factoids and history, and exhilarating splashes and bumps along the way. The ~3 hours we were out for felt like 15 minutes. The free snacks, drinks, and photos taken throughout the day really drove home all the extra lengths these guys go to. It genuinely felt like a day out with friends I'd known for years, Cade was super personable and friendly, but also professional and capable too; I never once felt in danger or that he didn't have everything under control Thanks so much for a great day out, cannot recommend these guys enough!
