BINGGO Mystery Box — Attraction in Richmond

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Pop Mart Binggo! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the store's clean and organized layout—everything was well-stocked and easy to find. The selection of items was incredible, with so many fun and unique collectibles to choose from. But what really stood out to me was the staff’s exceptional customer service.

I’ve been searching for specific Pop Mart figures for quite some time—Labubu, Space Molly, and Skullpanda—and I was thrilled to find that they had all of them in stock. The staff, especially Chris, went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They genuinely care about their customers and made sure I didn’t leave empty-handed. Chris, the manager, was especially wonderful. He took the time to listen to my needs, helped me search the store, and ensured I walked away with everything I was hoping for—and more!

Because of the team’s dedication, I left the store with a smile and a sense of happiness, knowing I had finally found the items I’d been hunting for. It’s rare to find such personalized and thoughtful service, and it truly made my shopping experience memorable.

I’ll definitely be returning to Pop Mart Binggo for all my future collectible needs, and I’m excited to see the new Binggo store opening soon. Thank you again, Chris, for being so helpful, genuine, and ensuring that I left the store more than satisfied. Highly recommend this store to anyone looking for unique collectibles and outstanding customer service!

I am leaving a review here so people who travel all the way to Richmond, for the only pop mart store in BC, do not end up being locked out of the store before its closing time while the staff member ignores them.

I went to this place about 2.5 hours before its closing time, around at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 29th.

The lights in the store were turned on. The “open” sign on the front door was switched on. However, the door was locked. There was a staff member inside. I knocked on the door. The staff member heard the knocking sound, glared at me in the eyes, and ignored me. More knocking. More glaring and continued dismissal.

Below are the problems with this issue.

If you are closed at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, then your opening hours on Google should say your store is closed at 5:30 pm, NOT your store is open until 8 PM. While this staff member ignored us, the Google page of this store said the store is open.

If the store is closed, do not keep the open sign switched on after locking the door.

While the Google page says the store is open and your store’s open sign is turned on, don’t ignore the customer who is knocking on the door.

Hopefully next time, the store will be opened during its opening hours, which is the least a store should do.

P.S. This store doesn’t respond to phone calls, so you can’t even check that way if the store is...

I have purchased from here before and like to go here from time to time when I’m around. It’s not anything special when I go in usually, but my latest visit was the most disappointing. I walked in without knowing I needed a mask I left because I didn’t have one with me (most places don’t have a mandatory mask rule anymore, so I don’t wear it and I don’t bring one with me, and they don’t provide masks I guess). I don’t mind the mask rule but what I minded was the two people ALREADY inside browsing did NOT have any masks on!!! Absolutely disappointing seeing that and being told I couldn’t come in. What the heck! I probably would have bought something if I walked in that day.

Besides that:

The service here is very Asian centered and very clique-y. The toys are unique and very pretty but they do cost some money. Great gift idea for someone because the toys are unique but expensive if you want to end up collecting.

Service is quiet, and waits for you to pay, unless you’re a regular. I noticed they talk to you way more. It’s usually really awkward but I’ve had 1 good experience with the 1 lady who provided useful info. Hence for the 2 stars.
