Soo Market — Attraction in Sault Ste. Marie

My grandmother has bad disabilities causing trouble walking, we heard there was a nice sweet shop by the door and we stop to see it we’d figured it would be a quick in and out the front. As we found out we weren’t allowed to go out the front, which would’ve been fine (even though she clearly had a walking disability) - however, the man at the door was just so rude. He was yelling for no reason and we simply went the other way saying nothing. It was a disgusting experience, a terrible character that man.

The Mill Market is a great place to go on Saturdays to get your local produce, maple syrup, breads, preserved foods, etc. It also hosts vendors that sell Alpaca wear, jewelry, arts & crafts, home made goodies, decadent soaps, and lots of great eats! It is busy in the summer time, but worth to go. It's great for families, and non family visitors. They have a bug lab there as an attraction, but to get inside from the bug lab is quite congested. This farmer’s market is indoor and has a selection of knitted items, fresh fruit & veggies, prepared foods, fish, baked goods and artisan crafts. Sometimes there can be a line to get in, so you have to be patient. Most of the vendors were lovely but I’ve had 2 rude encounters.
