HTO Beach is a man made beach. It consists of several yellow umbrellas. It’s a great place to catch some rays, lounge, watch the boats sail by, watch the sunset or catch a glimpse of airplanes landing near by Toronto’s Billy Bishop Island Airport. It’s open to the public for use on a first come first serve basis. There’s a water tap available for use to rinse oneself off from the beach sand. There’s no public washrooms in this area. Limited amount of beach chairs and yellow umbrellas are available for use. So bring a beach mat or your own portable chairs to make the most out of one’s day. My qualm is with the sunscreen dispenser. Friend and I thought it might be a good idea to sunscreen-up on out walk, and we walked away from this that experience never wanted to wear sun screen again. The dispenser was filled with what felt like white paint. very very thick chalky paint! It felt as though the city was playing a prank on us!
Applying it to my face made my face feel very tight and i looked like zuckerberg in that one...
