The Wychwood Barns Farmers' Market is one of the best in the city. Great organic produce at this time of year. We bought russet apples, heirloom tomatoes and eggs. We've already eaten half the russets; they're my fave apples. The market runs each Saturday, outside in the spring-fall, indoors during the winter. You'll find bread, cheese, fish & seafood, meat, Forbes wild foods (amazing forest mushroom selection) as well as vendors with beeswax candles, clothing and even jewelry. With the artist live-work studios in one of the former streetcar barns, there's always something to take in at this spot, even a community art gallery.
