Deliciously spiced, so tender yet crunchy at the same time. Excellently hot, nice chunks of crunchy yet soft vegetables, sheer perfection. Kimchi come thru!
Both the radish and regular kimchi I tried are incredible! So many different textures and shapes of cabbage and green onion. I love the crunchiness, the bursts of flavour, spicy but not too hot, a pleasant spicy. Excellent umami, lingering afterwards. Texture of the liquid is almost like a salsa with consistency to the brine, due to the rice.
I feel like I finally understand kimchi. This is how itâs supposed to be made. Thanks Mrs. Lee for bringing us your wonderful vegan natural kimchi.
P.s. she also has a beautiful looking pink one with beets which is not spicy that I will buy next...

This results in newly landed immigrants being prioritized over long-standing local businesses who have been applying for years and offering the same types of products, only to be denied repeatedly. I personally know many local makers who have faced rejection year after year, while someone who just arrived in Canada is immediately granted a spot. It feels like Flavours of Hope vendors are given preferential treatment over hardworking local entrepreneurs. Because of these unfair practices and this lack of transparency, I cannot support the Vancouver Farmers Market at this time.
