What a horrible experience my family had today at Galaxyland at the West Edmonton Mall, Galaxyland didn’t staff their park appropriately for the toddler rides and causing us to wait for 25min at each ride. I personally just went through a Spinal surgery this month and the excessive waiting and minimal seating is causing much aggravation and discomfort. Me being me I brought my concerns up to the manager on duty “J- - —h” and he said we could either get a refund and leave or continue on the rides and not complain. I suggested another resolution to give my son a pass for another day if we ever come back, this was answered quickly with “ I gave you two options already!”

I notified him at that time that “I do a blog on company’s that do not value the customers separate from my reviews on google and would be blogging about this encounter” The only concern tha “J- - —h” had was that I would use his name so I will not be posting his actual name but abbreviations. When “J- - —h” said this to me I responded with “then maybe you should’ve chose different words or actions”

Very disappointing that we bring our families to places like this, met with difficulties and this is type the of attitudes we are greeted with. Galaxyland may need to review their managerial training and skills at this company.

We ended up leaving Galaxyland right after this encounter and did not bother with the refund as my family was disgusted with the actions of the management team and we didn’t want to stand and listen to anymore of the rudeness.

If you’re travelling to Edmonton like we did to visit this establishment with your family please make sure you know you’ll be waiting excessive amounts of time, sadly this is probably the only warning you will get.

Galaxyland at WEM – A Family Adventure to Remember!

If you’re looking for the ultimate family adventure, look no further than Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall! This place is pure magic for both kids and adults. From thrilling rides to fun-filled attractions, it’s truly a heaven for all ages.

A huge shoutout to Floci, Jessie, and Jairus, who made our time at the Chutes and Ladders kids’ park even more special. They were incredibly attentive, making sure our kids had a safe and exciting experience. My 6-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son had the time of their lives!

The highlight of the day? The Galaxy Orbiter! My daughter and I braved this thrillingly frightening (but insanely fun) roller coaster—it was an unforgettable rush! But the fun didn’t stop there.

As a family, we loved Monopoly Railroad—since we play Monopoly at home, this was a ride we couldn’t miss! Watching the kids enjoy the theme made it even more special. My son was all about the Micro Machine Motojump, so seeing his excitement made the experience even better. Meanwhile, my daughter, who dreams of being a pilot, was completely in awe of the Micro Machine Aero ride—she was already imagining herself soaring through the skies!

Beyond the rides, there’s so much to explore! We even got a caricature drawing as a fun souvenir. Everywhere you look, there’s a photo-worthy attraction, making it a day packed with fun, laughter, and lasting memories.

Pro tip: Arrive early to make the most of your day—trust me, one day is not enough to experience it all! Plus, the best part? You can chill and shop at WEM whenever you need a break.
