Located next to the image of the Virgin Mary on the San Cristóbal hill.

It is also known as the Basque Chapel.

Construction began in 1921 and was completed, dedicated and blessed on December 2, 1931.

Beautiful chapel with stone murals.

The chapel is decorated with paintings by the German sculptor Peter Horn: Maria Mater Dei Genitrix, Saint Francis, Saint Benedict, Saint Peter, Saint Cecilia, Saint Elisabeth and Saint John the Baptist.

The murals depicting episodes from the life of Mary are also by Horn: The Girl of the Immaculate Virgin, The Presentation in the Temple, The Wedding of Mary and Joseph; Mary and Joseph in the Nazareth workshop, The Annunciation, Mary's visit to her cousin Elisabeth, The Birth of Christ, The Virgin of Mercy, The Pietà and Our Lady of the Angels.

A Capilla La Maternidad de María foi inaugurada em 1943. Ela foi construída graças aos esforços de um grupo de católicos devotos que queriam um lugar para venerar a Virgem Maria e para promover a oração pela proteção das mães e suas crianças.

Ao longos dos anos, a capela se tornou um local de perigrinação para muitos fiéis, especialmente durante datas religiosas significativas, como o Dia das Mães e outras festividades marianas.
