What an absolutely beautiful casino! It’s the biggest casino resort in the world, 3x the size of the one in Las Vegas. No photos can be taken inside the casino, which is a typical casino, but has a cool escalator in the centre that wraps around the Rolex store. The beautiful shopping area is massive, with every store you can think of, including luxury brands, and many restaurants. The gondolas are in more than one section - suggest you download the map of the Venetian so you don’t get lost! You can pay to enjoy a boat ride while being serenaded by a talented gondolier! If you take the walkway to or from The Londoner across the street, you’ll get amazing photos of both sides of the street. Be sure to check out beautiful ceilings throughout, and find your way to St Marcos Square - it’s almost like being in the real Venice, Italy. Don’t miss this place when you’re in Macao, even if you’re not planning on gambling.

In the evenings, the city transformed into a dazzling display of lights and sounds. The casinos, for which Macau is famous, beckoned us with their grandiose façades and promises of excitement. Though we were not avid gamblers, we couldn't resist trying our luck at a few games. It was all in good fun, and we left with cherished memories rather than fortunes. Our trip to Macau was not just a journey through historic sites and entertainment hubs; it was a celebration of family, culture, and the joy of experiencing new places together. Even now, a decade later, the memories of that trip remain vivid and cherished, reminding us of the beauty and wonder that the world has to offer.

Beautiful Hotel/Casino/Shopping Mall all rolled into one area. As it’s name it’s modelled after, it has a canal “district” in the shopping arcade built indoors complete with architecture, canal, gondolas, singing boatmen akin to Venice n even an artificial sky. Plenty of shopping outlets with brand names for apparel, accessories, food, souvenirs etc. Dozens of food outlets with all styles of cuisine plus a large food court area. Prices are a bit expensive due to the tourist belt and the crowds can be challenging. Nevertheless worthwhile for a visit and walkabout even if the weather is inclement as it’s all indoors. Good for a 2-3 hour visit. Well Recommended.

As a Western traveler, the Venetian Casino and Hotel in Macau is truly a spectacle to behold! Whether you love or hate places like this, it's hard not to be impressed by the sheer scale and opulence of it all. Though I don't gamble, I found myself captivated by the vibrant atmosphere of the luxurious gambling halls filled with thousands of enthusiastic mainland visitors. It’s like a living tapestry of excitement and anticipation that’s almost infectious.

The design, mimicking the charm of Venice with its canals and stunning architecture, creates a unique and immersive experience. Wandering through the corridors, you can't help but feel like you've been transported to another world. The attention to detail is incredible—from the intricate ceiling murals to the lavish decor; every corner seems to whisper luxury.

While I am fascinated by the lively gambling scene, I sometimes wonder about the luxury shops scattered throughout the complex. There often seems to be a lack of shoppers, and the well-groomed staff can occasionally look rather bored amidst the dazzling surroundings. However, the entire experience is undeniably enchanting!

The Venetian is famous for holding several world records, including having the largest casino in the world and being home to the largest single structured hotel (the 3,000+ room hotel complex). It truly outshines many establishments, even compared to the much larger Las Vegas. While Las Vegas may have its iconic status, Macau offers its unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures, making for an extraordinary visit.

If you find yourself in Macau, whether you gamble or not, a stroll through the Venetian is a must! It’s a fantastic testament to luxury and entertainment, and I can’t...
