The Belcher Bay Promenade, located at Shing Sai Road, Kennedy Town, is the first fully completed project under the “incremental approach” by the current Harbourfront Commission. Construction of the Belcher Bay Promenade commenced in the second half of 2018. Traditionally, the promenade should be open to the public only when it is fully completed in 21 months. That said, having regard to keen public expectation in getting close to the Harbour, the Government strived to first complete and open the 5-metre boardwalk in the first quarter of 2019, allowing the public to enjoy the boardwalk 19 months ahead of the original schedule. The promenade was subsequently fully opened in October 2020. The project consists of a promenade and an adjacent open space, formerly a public cargo working area. It covers an area of about 5 900 square metres. The promenade is built with a boardwalk of 172 metres in length, providing the public with a round-the-clock leisure space for enjoying a panoramic view of the western waters of Victoria Harbour and the sunset. This project embodies multiple goals such as making good use of vacant harbourfront sites, implementation of an “incremental approach”, introduction of multiple harbourfront experiences, as well as open site management.

A nice place to visit with plenty of facilities, beautiful seaside, cozy surroundings, many benches with tables placed in the middle, and one of the best sites to watch sunset. A great place to enjoy, relax, and ambiance is good because many people are staying here the whole day doing exercise in the morning, relaxation/resting in the afternoon while other are bringing their pet like dog to play or mingle with other dogs and even with the dogs owner..one of the feature of the promenade is the open space is that pet owners can brings their pets under leash and enjoy the facilities there together or let their pets play freely inside the pet corner available within the site.I'm being fascinated with the beauty of the place because of the mesmerizing view across Victoria Harbour as you can see some of the buildings in New Territories, and the magnificent view of Tsing Ma Bridge..a nice waterfront that you can often spot locals fishing, private yatch, and ferry boat going to Lantau Island as well as ferry going to Macau👍🤔😘

More public space in Hong Kong! Hooray. Promenade can be busy at peak times, but it can also be quite nice on rainy days or during the day on weekdays. There are also facilities for recycling tetra paks, those waxy or foil lined cartons your drinks come in. To recycle, they must be clean and flattened. There is a dog park, harbour view NW, plastic palates for kids to play, limited moveable seating, limited picnic tables, an herb garden, and bathrooms. There is limited shade so make sure to bring an umbrella. The promenade connects, via sidewalk through cargo area, to Belcher Bay Park and further afield to Central & Western Promenade. On weekends people can enter private cargo area on the KTown Waterfront 西環堅彌地城海旁 for jogging, walking.

Amazing playground and waterfront promenade in Hong Kong! From here you can see across the victoria harbor and all of Kowloon. The view is incredible and there are all of green in the area. Playground is made of scrap materials and are environmental friendly. Amazing place for kids to play while parents are relaxing by the promenade! It is also quite convenient to get there as there is bus stop and MTR station within minutes walk. From there, you can walk along the Victoria Harbor and get to Central and Causeway Bay.

I think this place just small local square with no special. But someday I look down this square and I can see many people enjoy their times in here. So I go to this square right away then I found the special mood in here. Young people talking edge of seawall and kids playing in square, dogs running in their play ground. Some people laughing some people thinking.. everyone enjoy their time at the small square. I think this place is jewelry of Kennedy town.

It's not a big place or any thing amazing about it. But they do have some unique features I haven't seen anywhere in HK. One is has a new cartoon theme, Cafe de Bolo. If you from HK you will recognize its the famous pineapple bun mix into cartoon characters. And two, many movable "driving vehicles", kids and adults loved! Beside is right next to harbour, water front, is quite comfortable walk with breeze. Worth a quick visit.
