One island east is a modern commercial office building located in Quarry Bay/Taikoo Shing. It houses a wide variety of companies from JP Morgan to Facebook.
The design really stands out as it is the tallest building in the area. The building is modern looking with its blue green all glass facade. The building is fairly convenient to access. It has its own turnaround so transportation to and from the building is rather easy. The elevators use a smart identification system to manage traffic (still will get crowded during peak times)
The building houses a public coffee shop, food court and restaurant. The food court in the 37th floor has a spectacular view and is worth a visit for the view alone. The eating options are passable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there, but is good for a rainy day when I don’t want...
Read moreIt is far from all directions and people need to walk at least 10 minutes from both the Taikoo and Quarry Bay MTR stations not including that you have to walk another 10 minutes from the train platform to ground. The Lifts are the curse of everything to this building making people running back and forth to catch the lift. The strcture at the entrace obstruct people walking in and out of the building coupled with cars and taxi waiting making it dangerous for patrons to the building and there is always a bad smell of carbadge before entering...
Read moreI really like the fact that the apartment block looks especially grand and cozy. Although I didn't get to go upstairs, I was very impressed by its surroundings, and what the neighborhood had to offer. From a very quiet surrounding, to a short walk to many food and shop offerings, and Tai Koo station being a 5 minutes walk away, all these help me affirm this place as being very conducive for proper living here in Hong Kong (if you can afford).
