Long-Term Stay That Went Downhill

I’ve been staying at this property for more than a year. While things started off relatively well, the quality of the stay has significantly declined in recent months due to poor maintenance and unaddressed issues.

Here are just a few of the problems I’ve encountered:

Broken AC for several days during peak summer heat Disgusting brown water coming from the shower in several instances A broken washer and dryer making laundry difficult No hot water for showers on multiple occasions, with the most recent outage lasting over 5 days and still counting

What’s been even more frustrating than the maintenance issues is the customer service. When I brought up the lack of hot water this week, the receptionist, Irene Wang, was incredibly rude and dismissive. Her response was that, since I’m a long-term guest, it’s not her problem and I’d just have to deal with it which is completely unacceptable.

When I reported the issue to the sales rep, I was told to submit a ticket, as is the case with every issue. Unfortunately, these tickets seem to do nothing other than leave you an email that says they’re doing something.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place. The lack of basic amenities, ongoing maintenance problems, and unprofessional attitude from staff have turned what began as a decent experience into a deeply...

I had my stay in a Greater Room which was spacious with a long bar table. Most of the hotel rooms at size of 26sqm don’t normally have such a long table. I think it’s perfect for meals, work and some board games. The design of hotel room is funky and contemporary. The separated shower, toilet cubicles and basin provides greater flexibility in use of space. However, the shower area is formed by glass cubicle without switchable transparent glass (霧化玻璃), it might be good for couples but could be slightly embarrassing during shower for a stay with friends🙈 We had our afternoon tea from @scarlett_hk , which is a good restaurant downstairs. The desserts were very delicious as usual. Standard breakfast was offered including cereal, bread, eggs and drinks. Not ample meal but sufficient. | [𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭] My stay at Hotel G was pleasant. Although the hotel doesn’t have many facilities and acoustic design between rooms could be improved, the design of hotel is stylish and interesting. Location is convenient and there are also a lot of good restaurants around. I would recommend Hotel G for couples / friends who are looking for budget boutique hotel stay with larger space for your planned activities (eg. Board games,...

Senior management obviously is not taking in the feedback from guests. Maybe because they are so used to complaints already. The Head of leasing/sales team named Jess is a joke as well. obnoxious. If the leaders arent capable of being one, don’t provide useful guidance, disregard areas for process improvement, guest complaints, while internal communication between depts is at the bare minimum, the company is doomed. Particularly when everyone at HABYT doesn’t like to take responsibility.||||Old. Everything kept falling apart the 6 months I was there- AC didn’t work for over a month, scalding hot water only available from the shower that took weeks of complaining before it was addressed, then it became no hot water for a few days. Ridiculous! And they didn’t want to compensate for the AC either originally. Can...

We traveled all the way from Germany, knowing the brand- Habyt, we had very high expectations, and Habyt did not disappoint. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, but what truly made it special was the staff. A huge shout-out to Irene at the front desk—she was so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She gave us a couple of great local dinner recommendations and was just genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. There are plenty of local restaurants around, and we went to a very popular place named Waso Cafe which was recommended by the hotel. Overall, we highly recommend to stay in this area, looking forward to our next trip back in HK!
