When we were there, the exhibition was 'The Blue Road: Mastercrafts from Persia'. Very detailed tour of a well-curated exhibition by our English speaking guide. If ever in Hong Kong, plan ahead and request your hotel concierge to book an appointment to visit the museum and exhibition. Hopefully not there during weekend as the museum opens from Tuesday to Saturday. Before leaving, check out their compendium of Chinese furniture at the reception. Got a set, very good read and reference.

Great collection of Ming and Ching dynasty furniture, and fantastic guided tour with detailed explanation of exhibits. We can also touch the exhibits which is usually not allowed in other museums. Really love the experience. Will definitely come back for new exhibitions. Remember to book ahead; no walk in.

Stunning museum, with fantastically curated exhibits, detailed explanations and fantastic tours. Well worth the individual entrance fee. Great that you get to sit on and enjoy the furniture upstairs!

This private 3-story museum houses two exquisite collections - antique Chinese furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and Chinese-inspired European vanities from the 19th and 20th century.

The museum itself is a stunning space; visits are by appointment only (book at least a day ahead) and by...
