New Town Plaza in Shatin stands out as one of Hong Kong’s top shopping destinations, thanks to its convenient location and extensive offerings. Directly connected to the Shatin MTR station and bus terminals, the mall is exceptionally easy to access. Additionally, it’s linked to several nearby malls, making it the central hub of the Shatin area. The plaza spans multiple floors and offers a vast selection of shopping options that cater to a diverse range of tastes and budgets. You’ll find everything from daily essentials and well-known retail brands to high-end shops, making it a versatile destination that appeals to locals and visitors alike. The dining scene is equally impressive, with an extensive range of restaurants and cafes serving everything from Hong Kong classics to international cuisine, ensuring there’s something for every palate. Whether you’re looking for a casual bite, high-quality fashion, or a day out with family, New Town Plaza delivers a well-rounded experience and is a must-visit when in the area.

one of the most “historical” shopping mall in town. linked to the shatin mtr station, and had been renovated years ago. a lot brighter and spacious now. talents are pretty much the same as other shopping malls in hong kong or the whole world :) love the outdoor snoopy land for kids and family, the public libaray is just next door, also the amazing shing mun river, and the riverside park area is closed by. if you are bored of the indoors, there’s much else for you to relax and get close to the nature. and one of the must visit tourist attraction in hong kong, the ten thousand buddha is just 10 mins up the hill^^

Very busy, even on a weekday afternoon. It also is really badly designed - the escalator shown is very silly in my opinion. The directories are hard to use and it felt impossible to find where I wanted to go. Good luck figuring out how to get down to the lower bus terminus - I still haven't found an easy way outside of going down from a different building. Why wouldn't it be next to the escalator going up from the bus terminus? The only positives are that it's fairly clean and it had a great selection of shops - especially all the sports and outdoor clothing brands

Everything You Need is Here This place is conveniently connected to both the MTR and bus station. It has a lot of new and nice shops. But the main feature of this place is the place is linked to a few other malls, both old and new. One can experience the new restaurants and brands as well as the older malls with the more local brands. Combined, this place is super huge, with lots of spaces to walk despite it constantly being crowded. One would be spoilt for choice be it for meals , buying clothing or presents. Certainly a place to visit.

Impressive shopping mall conveniently located with easy access by public transport. There is a large number of well known designer shops including Apple. The mall is also connected to other smaller malls with local shops. There are plenty of restaurants. There is a cinema, an adjoining hotel, a children’s park/play area and more. They also host special events to attract customers. It is a good way to spend a day. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
