招牌花膠燴蛇羹 Signature Fish Maw Braised Snake Stew = HKD83.00 土茯苓牛大力燉蛇肉 Beef and Snake Meat Soup (No Rice) = HKD160.00 No Service Charge
This Eatery had quite alot of Customers within. They don't only sell Snakes, but also Roasted Meats too.
The Interior isn't Big but have a Nice Cozy Feel to it. Staffs are Very Friendly and Welcoming and especially so when I started to talk to them in Cantonese. I appreciated their Efforts in Explaining what are the Different Types of Snake Dishes they offer.

This is basically a Very Thick Soup Stew that has the Consistency of Sharks Fin Soup. The Amount of Snake Meat Pieces here are really Very Generous! Doesn't taste Salty at all and the Meat is Very Soft and Tender. Think Shark's Fin Soup or 酸辣汤 but not 酸辣.
This Actually Tasted Very Nice tbh. And really, if you don't tell someone that this is Snake Stew, they will probably think this is just some Atas Restaurant Soup or something. Nothing inside this Bowl even resembles a Snake because its all been Cut into Very Small Pieces to discern. I like the one they have here. Its Very Warm and Comforting.

Now THIS was VERY IMPRESSIVE. The Amount of Snake Pieces they give is really ALOT and its REALLY alot of Snake Meat! I think this is at least Half a Snake worth of Meat?
I ate something similar like this before when I was in Taiwan. Definitely not as much Snake Meat as compared to this one. Also, if you have eaten Snake Meat before, you will know that it is a VERY TOUGH MEAT to Chew.
The one I had here, although is also Tough, but I feel is MUCH MORE TENDER then the one I had in Taiwan. It doesn't taste Dry and Leathery but actually has a More Tender Meaty Chew to it.
Snake is a Very Neutral Tasting Meat and it's taste is solely dependent on what Marinade or Broth it's soaked in, and in this case it has a Herbly Taste.
The Broth in this one has a Strong and Delicious Herbal Taste powered with some Herbs that I've seen before but unfortunately do not know the name of. Completely not Bitter at all. If you are someone who Enjoys Savoury Herbal Soups, you will most likely enjoy this too.
I also like that in addition to the Generous Amount of Snake Meat, there are also Several Big Thick Cut Pieces of Beef at the Bottom of the Bowl which although were Meaty, were abit Dry to the Bite. This Whole Dish is very Tasty and Not Salty at all and I Easily Drank it Dry. Excellent Snake Soup!
Are the Dishes worth the Price I paid?
HKD83.00 (S$14.50) for the 蛇羹 (Snake Stew) I feel is worth the Money definitely because of how Big the Bowl was. This is basically like eating Shark's Fin Soup. If you enjoy such Herbal Restaurant type of Atas Stew, this is Worth the Money in my opinion.
HKD160.00 (S$28.00) for the Snake Soup may Feel Expensive, but again, I feel the Price is worth to pay to be able to eat something that we can NEVER EVER hope to ever eat in Singapore. The Actual Dish itself is Generous with their Meat and Herb Portions. I especially loved the Quality of the Snake Meat because its actually more Tender then the past Snake Soups I've eaten before. So to me, this is a Quality that I feel is Worth Paying for.
I Really Enjoyed my Meal and just having a Genuinely Great Time with the Very Friendly Staffs and even other Patrons here! Highly Recommended!

Read moreTried the snake broth which was topped with fresh chrysanthemum petals, herbs and crackers. There was strong dried fruit peel taste. Overall I quite liked it, but not as good in comparison to the Wan Chai because there were lots of brittle bones in it. The sausage tasted exactly how I expected it, non-greasy with crumbly liver inside. It was quite good compared to other sausages, although I did find the odd bone fragments in it. The chicken however was a waste of money, although it did taste good, I was given 90% inedible chicken skin and bones! If I was a dog I would be happy! After finishing the food, the waiters hurriedly came to clean the table for the next customers, they wiped the stuff from the table to the floor, thanks to them, and I got some rice on my laps. Next time, I will try the snake sauce, and have liver sausages again, the chicken is a waste of money, and also depends on luck whether you are given skin,...
Read moreDisgusting. I went here for dinner after seeing rave reviews. Ordered the chicken with a side of rice. The chicken looked questionably cooked as it appeared raw, not to mention the temperature which was barely warm. As this was turned out so fast I can only assume it had been 'cooked' and then left. The vegetables too were barely warm, same for the rice. This is from a westerner's pov and so it may be the done thing for the locals but I didn't feel comfortable with it at all so left most save a few mouthfuls of rice and the veg. Only cost £5 but the jury is out on whether it has any adverse effects. The positive is that the locals frequent this establishment, yet on the flip side one turned away his meal after he was greeted with the same...
