This museum allowed free entrance on the last Friday of the month. We took advantage of it and were able to see all the costumes and traditional wear from all the years. Some rooms even had video. It's very informative museum of it's size and lots of items for you to take photograph with. Many of the exhibits has explanation in English so it's easy to explore. It only cost COP3,000, which makes it's one of the cheapest museum you can visit in Bogota. It's worth every peso you pay for visiting the musuem.

El Museo de Trajes es realmente interesantísimo, muy completo, sobre todo en lo que tiene que ver con los trajes tradicionales y las particularidades de cada departamento del país, que en algunos casos van cambiando a lo largo del tiempo. Me gustó especialmente el piso de arriba, con la parte dedicada a la comunidad afrocolombiana, donde hay videos con testimonios de protagonistas directos. Está impecablemente cuidado y realmente vale la pena visitarlo. TODO LO CONTRARIO DEL MUSEO DEL 20 DE JULIO!!! Perdón por caer en la comparación, pero me siento obligado a mencionarlo: no tienen absolutamente nada que ver en cuanto a mantenimiento, amabilidad e interés. Si hubiera que escoger solo uno, sin duda me quedo, de lejos, con el Museo de Trajes
