My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anni and have wanted a semi matching tattoo forever but could never decide on what we wanted. We arrived to Costa Rica Sunday 10/22 and started asking people what Pura vida meant to them, we loved that everyone had the same definition in their own words so we thought let’s get Pura vida. I googled local artists in the area and found Alejandro, the website directed me to his Instagram and I fell in love with his work. I immediately messaged him, he was quick in responding and was totally down for our crazy idea. His shop was clean, and very welcoming. Alejandro is an amazing artist and the sweetest person. What I loved most is that he was very gentle I have tattoos and tried different artists who are heavy handed and the tattoo hurts the entire time, but with Alejandro the experience was soo different, he was very gentle and kept me entertained, I felt like I was on the bed for like 10 mins lol. Another thing I loved about him is his uniqueness, he won’t repeat the same tattoo on someone else, I really appreciate that. I can’t thank him enough, I honestly look forward to coming back to Costa Rica just to get another tattoo with him. Gracias...
