DO NOT VISIT! This is the worst aquarium I've ever been to. The tanks were small, the fish looked so depressed even a therapist wouldn't save them, there was a dead starfish floating on the surface and the sharks seemed so sad they looked like were one second away from ending their lives. Even the pirhanas forgot they were dangerous predators and gave off the vibe of overcooked vegetables. The second floor smelled like burnt feces, the toilets were a mess and the tanks were tiny and dirty. I wish I could take back my money and use it to try and get the fish out of there and back to the wild. It was 250kč for a student ticket, which is more than a ticket for the zoo which is 10 times more worth it, and that's saying something because half the animal exhibits are closed due to COVID and the highlight of my day there was feeding obese sheep. A disgrace. If the wildlife could speak, they would probably say they'd rather be made into sushi than stay there for a second longer. At the start I was sad it was so small, but now i'm relieved they cannot fit a single other poor soul into that prison. Whoever is in charge should be ashamed of themselves. I was in and out in 5 minutes and somehow within that timespan I developed enough nightmare fuel to have horrid flashbacks for the next week. Save your money for something that won't make you want to cry and throw up at...
Read moreI visited the Sea World Museum in Prague expecting a smooth and enjoyable experience, but I was disappointed by their outdated payment policy. Surprisingly, they only accept cash, which is highly inconvenient and unusual, especially for a popular tourist attraction in a major European city.
In today’s world, where card and digital payments are the norm, this policy feels very restrictive. Most international travelers don’t carry large amounts of cash, and it’s surprising that such a well-visited place hasn’t adapted to modern payment systems. It’s especially frustrating since many people plan their trips assuming credit cards are accepted at most venues.
While the exhibits are interesting, the inconvenience of the payment method overshadowed the experience for me. I hope the management reconsiders this policy to provide a more seamless and tourist-friendly experience in...
Read moreThey charge 14 euros approx. to show a museum of what's wrong with mankind.
The fishes are in a really small and unhealthy area, moreover, the sharks were in seemingly poor conditions (one of them even had its dorsal fin broken due to a seemingly small area to swim), there are animals that look like they're almost dead and the worst of it is that they don't even try to imitate the environment or conditions of each specie.
They also have Peruvian cultural art front endemic tribes (don't ask how they got it, since exporting it from the country is forbidden), but they don't even explain why is it important or what is the use of each thing in a different culture.
I feel bad because I even had to pay for it, only the thought of keeping this place funded makes me...
