I stayed in room number 319. The light in the toilet went off and straight on again throughout the whole night (turning off seemed to trigger the sensor). The toilet room was also so small in size that I couldn't close the door while sitting on it!||Besides that, earlier in the morning, housekeeping was extremely loud in the hallway (having a conversation shouting what seemed like across different rooms). Only when I knocked loudly on the door, they moved a little further away and reduced the noise but still kept speaking too loud for it not to be audible.||Later in the morning, the light in the shower room failed to turn on for at least 30 minutes despite repeated effort to trigger the sensor and asking at reception for help, it only came on randomly again when I’d already expected a repair was needed and reception had asked maintenance to come over. This all whilst I had limited time as I was due to travel.||The breakfast location had changed from my previous stays where it was on the first floor to a room in the basement. When I inquired with the receptionist where I could have breakfast as the usual room on 1st floor seems locked and empty, she was rude and just snapped “Because it’s downstairs” pointing in the direction. The downstairs breakfast room was small and overcrowded with no available seating, and I was unable to sit until asking multiple people.||Additionally, when I attempted to provide feedback about the room at check-out to a different receptionist, I was dismissed with no further explanation and advised to send an email. I did send an email but the response was dismissive and it did not seems as if the points that I had raised were understood as described below they are:|- denying the issue with the bathroom light, saying I did not close the door properly - I had closed the door properly.|- saying they don't guarantee the breakfast location instead of taking on the feedback that the breakfast arrangements were not suitable for the number of people having breakfast, as well as the rude behaviour of their staff towards me when I asked about the breakfast|- ignoring the feedback about not being able to close the door to the toilet when sitting on it (I am not even very tall) saying that I was "assigned a single room, which corresponds to the description provided during your booking"|- ignoring other feedback e.g....

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.I‘ve been to a lot of different places and hotels and this is by far the very worst. Not worth the 4 star rating it has. Reasons: -Loud sounds It was so hard to sleep because you can hear every single noise from outside of the door and walls. Our room was on the street side (which all rooms are) and the outside noises of the street were very loud. You can hear every single footstep from outsite the door and if someone was talking outside you could hear it loudly And clearly.Water kept running in toilet for around a whole day and It was so loud we barely could sleep.

-water We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.First day the water was fine. But on the second day the water suddenly stopped. There was no water to shower, brush your teeth, wash your face/hands etc. After 8hours the water came back really really thin. There wasn‘t any drinkable water.

-Dirty room/toilet The floor in our three person room was dirty and hasn’t been cleaned for at least 2 weeks. Cleaning supplies haven’t entered the bathroom in probably a month. The bathroom was really small and one adult could barely fit in there. The sink was disgustingly dirty and there wasn‘t any place to put your toothbrush, toothpaste etc on.

-parking We had reserved a spot in their parking lot as it said on the website that they had a parking lot. When we arrived there and asked for the spot they said that the space was really small and there isn’t any place for us to park and that we had to drive for almost 1.5km and had to pay 6€ when we drove there we couldn’t find it anywhere so we went back to the hotel and asked. They said we had to find it on our own.We drove around for atleast 20 minutes until we found a spot to park (for free because it was on a Saturday)Our car stayed there for free until sunday. Finally they told they had a spot free in their parking lot so we drove there. The next day when we wanted to check out they told us that we had to pay 20€ for the day that our car stayed there! They didn’t tell us anything about the price when they told us about the parking lot so we had thought it was free or the maximum of 10€!!

Please do NOT waste your money on this hotel.I would never step a foot in this hotel again!!!! Very VERY...

We had a pizza, asked them for cutlery to cut it and THEY LAUGHED IN OUR FACE. Like literally they started laughing, we stared there waiting for another response since that was inadmissible, and a minute after one of them took a spoon and asked if that would work. Left since they were disgusting to us. Went back a few minutes later to ask for something else and they receive us with did you get eat your pizza with a spoon? All three of them laughing out loud. They were making fun of it. They didn't even gave us a spoon!!!! They have cutlery on the breakfast area but I suppose they didn't want to make the effort. My partner asked to talk to the manager, after a few incidents and only rudness. They wouldn't tell him when he would be available. Only after that they offered a free water or non alcoholic drink from the minibar. After a few tries asking for the manager, they said he would come on Monday (they know we are leaving tomorrow). Do not doubt we will contact him on Monday. Yesterday, the bathtub water was brown. We showed them the pictures and they said it is normal, it is rust. No explanation. Nothing. Wouldn't you have a bath in that water?????!!!!!!!???? Let's not talk about the cleanliness of the room, poorly wifi, the poor quality food served at breakfast and that in the description they say free hygiene items but they make you pay 2€ for a toothbrush and a 3gr toothpaste that housekeeping threw away for me. Oh, also don't even ask for a bath. The light works with a sensor so it switches off every 5 minutes so the person who is resting in the bed has to get up and get into the bathroom in order to get it back on. SO RELAXING Thank you for the worst birthday...

This has been one of the most terrific experiences I've had in hotels. The furniture is dirty, you can see the chair in the photo with some already dry liquid on it and dust on the lamps? Then our room had no lights so we had to use our iphone lantern until we reach the bed lights. Then the bathroom lights off every 5 minutes so my partner has to stand up and come more than be resting. Also, water came out BROWN one day, and in Front office they told us that THIS IS NORMAL??! We were astonished. Also because nobody told us anything. How should we manage that. Then today, our last night, we asked for a knife to eat pizza. And not only the 3 people in front desk did laugh, one came with a little spoon while laughing. After we ate our pizza I went down and they asked if I was able to eat it with a spoon while laughing. I was visibly upset and gave the speech of everything I'm mentioning here. Also I asked for when is the manager coming, and it was not until I said "I don't care if he is not here tomorrow 15/12, I will call from Spain, that they offered a compensation (they offered FREE WATER?!?!). Also one of them at front told me "You took the spoon thing personally". How should I take it, you laughed for a minute straight on us for a normal ask in a hotel.

I’d give Hotel Belvedere in Prague 4 stars with my review weighted on the value for what I paid. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast each morning was wonderful, complete and even better than I expected. I’m seriously jealous of those coffee machines and wish I had one at home! 😀 The bed was too firm for what I’m used to, but the pillows were comfortable, and while the decor felt a bit dated, some may find that charming, just not quite my taste. I also appreciated having a rotating fan in my room since I’m used to air conditioning. My room had excellent storage capacity, making it easy to settle in. One thing to note is that my room had a small step-up enclosed shower with two doors that didn’t open very far, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues. Overall, a great stay with excellent value, and I would recommend it for its location, service, breakfast, and comfortable accommodations.
