Inaugurated in 2011, this memorial recognizes the thousands of Danes sent on international missions since 1948. The monument consists of three spaces based on the granite-covered walls.
One space has a wall has the inscription "En tid – Et sted – Et menneske" which translates to "One time – One place – One human."
Another wall is for all the current deployed personnel represented with an eternal flame and inscriptions of names of conflict/catastrophe areas.
The last area is a commemoration for fallen soldiers with the first name of the fallen...
