Besides it is an intriguing building, the Royal Library also houses the Photography Museum of Copenhagen in this black diamond.  At the time we were there, it had a nice exhibition.  And it only costs a few kroner. Well recommended !!!

Also called as black diamond! I love this place combing exhibition, cafe, show rooms and connecting to KU library. You can either enjoy reading with a cup of coffee at the ground floor or walk around to see exhibitions.

Skip this museum. The National Museum of Photography, tucked away on the lower floor of the Royal Library, is hardly worth the visit. While the library building itself is stunning, the museum is dull, uninspired, and barely worth the time. The exhibits are sparse and unremarkable, making it feel more like an afterthought than a proper museum. Don’t bother, there are far better things to see...

We expected sth. totally different and came to see a great international photography collection but only found two weird and small exhibitions, barely photography. The complete museum's collection is not public as the woman at the ticket counter told us....
