Visitei Copenhaga em meados de Março de 2024. Uma das referências que tinha era fotografar este belo edifício, construído na década de 1620, no reinado de Christian IV, que funcionou como bolsa de mercadorias até ao século XIX. Fiquei com pena, pois o edifício estava em obras e a sua fachada estava totalmente coberta. Não pude assim, ver e fotografar um dos melhores exemplos do chamado renascimento holandês na Dinamarca. Felizmente consegui ver o célebre "pináculo do dragão", que datava de 1625 e foi projetado como quatro caudas de dragão, que se enrolam. A torre tinha três coroas no topo, simbolizando os grandes reinos da Dinamarca, Noruega e Suécia. Em 1775, foi construída uma nova torre mais ou menos igual à antiga, pois havia o perigo de desabar. Dizia-se que a própria torre protegia a casa contra golpes e fogo inimigos. Infelizmente um incêndio acabou agora, um mês depois da minha visita, por destruir este fabuloso edifício que albergou a Bolsa de de Valores de Copenhaga até 1974. Esperemos que a sua reconstrução seja coroada de êxito e que num futuro próximo, possamos desfrutar de toda a sua magnitude e beleza.

CPH stock exchange is more or less an average Scandinavian brick edifice, but what stands out is the roof with its spire. The spire is a twisted Dragons tail with its claws embracing the Dome - very beautiful and unusual. I think you cannot visit it as it's currently under renovation, but do pass by to see it as it's in the vicinity of Christianborg Palace in downtown CPH

This former stock exchange is beautiful to see. From the waterfront you can get an amazing view of it. Also if you have a canal tour or a boat, you get a great view of it there too. Located right next to Christiansborg Palace and on the waterfront, the location is amazing. CPH old exchange building. Visited during CPH culturenight. Beautiful inside with the originally kept skulptures and art decorations. Very interesting to just walk through, even without a tour. The second part of the building feels like a museum and office in one as the rooms have been fully renovated/build as an extensions but have all the art still.
